Wife will clean.

OMG. I'm having such a good and productive night!

Danny is away for work. He has a new job as a cleaner and maintenance guy at the shopping complex 45 minutes away. Full time hours and his boss is one of our friends so it has worked out well. The stable income has been great. Before this he was a traffic controller and has been for the past 10ish years but it's casual and while he was getting regular hours, it can never be guaranteed so the financial stability was never there.

Anyway he had to do the closing shift today (2pm to 10pm) and has to do the opening shift tomorrow (6am to 2pm) so he decided to stay the night. There's a camp-out room that the security guard uses when he's doing long hours there that has a bed, coffee machine, fridge and microwave so when Danny has his two long days (16 hours monday and tuesday) he stays there (the security guy doesn't stay monday night) and it was available tonight as well so he's sleeping there tonight.

AKA I have the house to myself all night and no work tomorrow.

CUE CLEANING FRENZY omg.

I've folded and put away the MOUNTAIN of laundry that was cluttering up my living room including my sheets. I've had Fabio vacuum the living room, kitchen and entry room where the birds are. Once he's done charging i'll send him in to vacuum my room, the bathroom and the guest bedroom.
I unloaded and reloaded the dishwasher, disinfected and cleaned the sink and bench tops, gave the stove a thorough cleaning and de-cluttered the breakfast bar.

Pretty soon i'm gonna go clean the bathroom from top to bottom, then once Fabio is done vacuuming those rooms i'm gonna go over the whole house with the Dyson (it's been about a month since I did that) and then i'm gonna mop the hard floors.

On top of that i've dusted every surface in this house. And I have another load of laundry in the dryer and one more in the washer and i'm super motivated to fold and put away all of it.

CLEAN ALL THE THINGS omg. I'm in such a crazy cleaning mood tonight. IT'S SO GOOD.

I just got done with the bathroom and i'm so satisfied LOL.

i need to do this sooo bad!

It was going so well until I vacuumed the house with the Dyson.

These noisy brats decided to have a who-can-be-louder match with the vacuum x_x



Which honestly doesn't bother ME, I just ignore them and carry on.. But it was like 10pm when it was happening and it's a Thursday night and we have neighbours now LOL.
I lost my cool and yelled at Evie (it was her making most of the noise) and they piped down.. All I heard after that was a few kissy noises (evie trying to suck up) and Sam going "beep beep" every so often. I mopped the floors and closed their doors and its been blissfully silent ever since LOL.

But PHEW I am done. Just a couple more loads of washing (one in the dryer, one in the washer) and i'll be completely caught up. I'm so pleased with myself.

Gotta love those binge-clean urges! :P

While hubby's away, Shae will play with Fabio. ;) ;)

dude. im going to have an epic cleaning WEEK.

the roomates will be leaving in the next 2 days, were about to lose like 80% of the clutter in the house when they leave. im doing full sweep, mop, clean, scrub, scrub again.

im so excited.

when is it okay to admit that cleaning is our freedom and boys always get in the way xD i swear even if mine sits on the bed and plays his game all day i STILL feel hes in the way!

PS. Fabio is ALMOST as fabulous as you (an never match it)

xD I need mine to take the kids out for a Daddy / Kiddo day so I can get my clean on like this. Then they can come back home and destroy it in 2.3 seconds.

i can't relate to this urge of wanting to clean while everyones away.
i just wanna sleep or listen to music too loudly lmao

I never liked cleaning until I had kiddos O.o; but my version of cleaning is blaring music, dancing around and cleaning. I also love my vacuum cleaner (Shark Navigator Lift Away) and my mop (Bissell Steam Mop) - Before I obtained both of these I hated vacuuming and dealing with the kitchen floors. It never felt like I got them clean enough prior to owning them. The Shark eats all the pet hair. YAY!
