 It does not have to fit both themes, just one or the other. However, I'll be giving you a prompt for each theme! FIRST: Pick a sentence and fill in the blanks. * This is my __Summer Time Fun__! * These are some of my __Favorite Colors___! SECOND: Go take a picture of whatever you filled in the __blank__ with! If it's a feeling or something intangible, take a picture that represents it in some way, either by emotion or correlation. You can also share a picture you have taken from a previous time in your life, just not a re-post from any other months' contests! :D THE RULES- The picture must be taken by you! THE DATES- Entrees are accepted: Now through June 20th THE PRIZESFirst Place: 10,000 points on an animal OR 10 mill HPD, an achievement, and your photo featured in the HP Gallery!    |

* This is my __Summer Time Fun__!
For me this image can capture both themes! Summer is spent checking on the new calves born in the spring freshly turned out to pasture. Riding horseback across the fields with the soft moos and gentle chewing of the cattle all summer long is one of my all time favorite things! I also LOVE a red hided cow especially when they have such gorgeous white markings as this cutie pie. |

My summer time fun! Taking references for my sculptures and getting to attend tons of fun equine events! This is a local medieval festival with jousting and other fun! This was trick riding with a horse that was on the Heartland TV series!

I go to alot of Rodeos and horse events. I love voluntering my time to help make these events great. My horses are not show horses and i don't like showing. This is my Summer Time Fun! Each summer we get 2 baby pigs and love giving them a happy life and finding out their big personalities. This is the latest two the day we picked them up, named Honey and Mustard. HPD please if I place at all |

These Are Some Of My Favorite Colors This is a picture from many summers ago but I grew up in rural Pennsylvania and my favorite thing to do in the summer was take car rides with all the windows down and music blaring. Just enjoying all the different colors of the summer sunsets. The reds, oranges, pinks, blues and every color between with the clouds contrasting. It's something I don't get to do much now that I've moved states and live in a high traffic area. Car rides aren't very relaxing anymore but every time I get a chance to, I cherish driving on the back roads when I visit home and soak in all the colors of summer I will take the HPD if I place :) |
