Hunh. I never knew that. I follow a rescue that operates in Cairo. I wonder how many of the horses there are this cross. They all look pretty arab-y but the rescue insists they're not officially Arabian.  Link Tree |

Thank you Tronic! And that's interesting, Chaotic - they could be Arab-Barbs or they could just be non-Asil Arabians and so they don't consider them to be officially Arabian? |

They're the non-pedigreed horses the working class breeds and uses. A few "true" Arabians have come to the rescue that were bred in local stud farms and apparently they're all branded. I don't know if the breeders specifically in Cairo deal in asil or non. Link Tree |
