As a reminder, HP is a safe space, both for those who identify on the rainbow, and those who don't and/or don't agree with it. We aim to accept everyone no matter their walk of life. Even if you don't agree with how someone identifies, what they do or don't believe in, etc, all we ask is that you are respectful to all other players and their life experiences. You would want others to be respectful of yours, after all! This goes for other opinions as well...Safe Space!

Other Site Updates
Thanks to our amazing coder, we have a few several new features on HP:
On news posts, it now lists the news post number at the top where it says which staff member is making the post. Better yet, if you click on it, it copies the link to that specific news post!
Chat now features a colour picker tool in addition to the old way of choosing your colour. You can also enable or disable a quiet chime noise if someone posts in chat, and see who is currently active in each chat room. Additionally, the title of the chat page in your tab will now display a (1) if someone has replied after you and you are not active on the chat tab. Clicking GIF, JPG, PNG, or WEBP links in chat will now also show the image in a pop-up preview instead of taking you to a new tab. Chat settings also "stick" once you've logged out!
As previously reported HERE, graphics/images on HP that are hosted by Imgur are blocked from being viewed by our UK players. Good news on this: UK users should now be able to see Imgur stuff on HP again, as our coder worked his magic in ways I don't understand to make them still visible on our site for our UK friends!
Additionally, I myself coded a few new animal rankings on the Rankings page, specifically for born-with points for horses and dogs. These two rankings do not currently offer achievements to go along with them, although I'm hoping to add that in the future!
Spotlight Breeds
I'm a week behind, but we have 2 Spotlight breeds for May: the Allimoose and the Thoresian!
Allimoose - Created by Custom Breed Auction winner Concourse in honor of Tronic (aka Allison), a former HP admin who tragically passed away in 2022. As a nod to her love of moose, the Allimoose is a horse breed that is highly versatile and excels at a variety of disciplines. It's beautiful and comes in a variety of colors, but are most likely to be: gray or bay. The thing that sets the Alimoose apart from other breeds is the set of horns that rest on it's skull. Most have moose like antlers that adorn the skull and add charm to the breed. Some may have deer antlers, but this is extremely uncommon. The current highest pointed Allimoose is kimi, owned by lakra.
Thoresian - The Thoresian was added in July 2014 at the request of the player Blue. They are a feline-based breed, having a mane and tail like a lion, and are built like a Friesian. You can read more about them HERE. They can also be considered an official crossbreed on HP, as crossing a Thoroughbred with a Friesian will give you a Thoresian. The current highest pointed Thoresian is Klotho, owned by Whynn & Tragedy.
As always, these two breeds will be available this week in the Store, before returning next Sunday to the Cash Shop for another year. Why not start a pair or three during this last week of Double Points Month?
