I'm curious to see how everyone names their animals here on hp! Tell us how you name them and what any symbols, emojis means. 

I name my animals using this method:

|sun| which means the day they age

an emoji for that breed

{a1} which means generation 1 or whatever generation they are

[age] which every week I change.

Mine are 

?| 1,2,3 etc |M/S|Name|

symbols/ emojis i put on animals that are in private shows so they are easily identified 

First bracket is breeding pair number within the divider

next is if its a mare or stallion 

then their name 

I used to include the age, but took it out because i have too many animals. It was annoying to change so many every week haha Same thing with the points. I used to have the points in their names. But HP added the points column in the animal information table, so thankfully I dont feel the need for that any more.

Now it's usually just:

"Animal's Name" [emoji] G#

The emoji is something different for every breed and i have the same emoji in my player name for each account. Like my Standardbreds have a 🍹 because they're in honor of my sister's old horse, Mr Punch, and started old being given different different types of drinks for names. OR My Morgans are theme named after the tv show Dexter because his name was Dexter Morgan (haha I love word play like that!) and have a sword emoji 🗡 (like the knife that he uses in the show).

And the G# is abbreviation for "Generation 1/2/3/etc"

Some have a number with a letter before the name which just helps me organize the breeding pairs on the accounts where I have a larger hoard.
