Speaking up against something is condemning it. Condemn means to express complete disapproval of something, typically in public. This sums up your post well, and your reply is honestly something I never expected to see on HP. No one is asking or requiring you to publicly validate the “lifestyle” just because this thread was posted. HP won’t ban you if you don’t voice your solidarity. I'm sure many other members who oppose it have not replied, which is more than okay!

If something offends, upsets, or otherwise bothers you or goes against your beliefs, your best bet is to ignore it quietly. It is by far the most respectful option. I’m sure you are free to post whatever beliefs you have on HP as long as they don’t violate any laws, but I would also hope you wouldn’t get contentious replies such as what you posted here unless you were specifically seeking out an exchange of views.

As others have mentioned, a thread was created a while ago for Christians to gather, share their favorite Bible verses, and facilitate prayer requests for those interested. Bible verses have also been included after names year-round for quite some time. I am not religious in the slightest and am very averse to it, but I do what you should’ve done; I ignore it. 

Just because I don’t approve of a subject or enjoy seeing it doesn’t mean I need to voice my opposing opinion on the matter, nor do I expect them to not publicly talk about it solely because I don’t wish to see it. No one posted any replies to the Christian thread debating, disagreeing with, or challenging their beliefs or their choice to celebrate them. I’m certain it wouldn’t have been appreciated if someone had, much like yours.

The Christian thread wasn’t hurting anyone, and neither is this one.

To be blunt, this thread never invited debate. If anyone is introducing divides or leanings, it’s you. It’s a simple declaration of love, acceptance, and freedom for all to pursue what makes them happy (as consenting adults; do not twist this into something it is not). It should’ve been kept that way. If you needed to share your opinion, you should’ve made a separate thread with an applicable topic title. Hence, people will understand what they are walking into/engaging with and could decide to avoid it.

But at the end of the day.. If you have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all, right?

@Blitz : I love that! This 'bow appeared when I got home after Belfast's Pride parade in 2017. In fact, it was a double 'bow! I love doubles, but my fave I've seen was a supernumerary 'bow!

That second rainbow is cool AF, Kuwait!

On my way home across the Greenbelt that splits half of Ottawa from my suburb last summer I saw a full rainbow. Like legit the entire arc, not just one side of it, across the fields. People were literally pulling over to take a photo it was so cool!

As someone who was raised in the Catholic Church, and still goes to church regularly, I just want to say I absolutely LOVE seeing all the support on this game for our LGBTQ family as well as the few people I see around such as Nad that have Bible Passages in their names. The absolute diversity makes me SO happy to see! 

God and religion get all year to be celebrated by followers. People can go to church every day if they choose. Pride is not to shove relationships or sexual orientation into people's faces, but to bring visibility. To help people understand that Love is Love. Man to Man, Woman to Woman. So long as 2 consenting adults love each other, why should we care? One of Gods first commandments is Thou Shall not Kill. Yet there have been MASS murders simply because there was an LGBTQ gathering somewhere.

One of Gods main messages is Love Thy Neighbor. Its not 'love thy neighbor only if they are a straight man and woman'. 

I am so SO PROUD to be part of a game that LOVES and supports everyone. To know that this game is owned and run by members of the LGBTQ community makes it just that much more amazing too.
