Mascot Contest Update!

Hey Everyone!
As originally planned out Sign-Ups were to begin today Sunday January 8th.
This is a little update post as to why they have not opened up just yet...

Here me out!
We are pushing just the Sign-Up portion back by a week!
This will give you an extra week to gather your thoughts on thinking of joining in or getting a team together.
For those doing the more intense categories it's an extra week to secure funds, shows, and tickets!
You can back out at any time before the end of Sign-Ups and still get a refund.
If you drop after Training Starts no refund will be provided.
Just wanted to give you a heads up on that aspect so it's not a Surprise!
* All important information will be provided at start of Sign-Ups!
The rest will be provided at start of Training!

...Current Important Dates Schedule...
Sign-Ups will begin Sunday January 15th.
Sign-Ups will end Saturday February 4th.
Training will begin Sunday February 5th.
Training will end Saturday April 1st.
Voting will Open Sunday April 2nd.
Voting will end Monday April 10th.
Winners announced Wednesday April 11th.

* All other dates for pictures/backstories/mini-events will be listed in the Official Important Dates forum thread in the Mascot Contest Forum Category!

I've also been battling a killer migraine all day that has wiped all energy from me and left me feeling foggy.
Still needing to catch up on all of 24DoC prize awarding and a couple other little things, so this extra week will definitely help smooth everything out so I can dedicate 100% energy to kicking off Mascot Season on the right foot!
I'm excited to see all the creativity and competitiveness this year!
