STATE FAIR FIND ME A PIC OF....!!!

Typically I only run 2 activities a month, but this week the Minnesota State Fair is currently running!!! The Great Minnesota Get-Together is THE largest state fair in the country. Texas will tell you otherwise but that’s only because they run their fair for 24 days to get an annual attendance of 2.25 million people. The Minnesota State Fair, on the other hand, runs for HALF that long and gets an average attendance of 2 million people. The record attendance was in 2019 with 2,126,551 people. Minnesota also is the largest in average daily attendance. The highest daily attendance in the history of the fair was 270,426 visitors on Saturday, September 1, 2018. (Pretty sure I was there that day xDD)
Some of the most iconic foods at the Great Minnesota Get-Together usually involve putting it on a stick, deep-frying it, or both. xD Deep fried cheese curds, deep fried oreos, deep fried snickers, deep fried ribs, deep fried twinkies, deep fried butter (yes, butter…) Pickles on a stick, Walleye on a stick, pork chops on a stick, bacon on a stick, Steak Dinner on a stick, Spaghetti and meatballs on a stick, Pizza on a stick, giant egg rolls on a stick, gyro on a stick, cheesecake on a stick
Deep fried olives on a stick, deep fried hotdish (known as casserole by non-Minnesotans) on a stick, deep fried lobster on a stick, deep fried reeses pb cups on a stick

SO THAT BEING SAID…. This Find Me a Pic of is Minnesota State Fair themed!! So, a few of these photos do NOT necessarily all have to be FROM the Minnesota State Fair – such as the ferris wheel. But most of these you probably won’t find unless you’re specifically searching on your search engine starting with the key words “Minnesota State Fair _____ “. Because of this, I realize there might be some of these pics that are going to be similar just due to availability, but just do your best to be original and try to find a pic no one has used/found yet. ? ohhh I'm so excited for this activity. I will get started after work today :D I love the fair! We top out at about 500k a year. So MUCH smaller, but still fun! |

This is getting me excited for our "BigE", it's held in Massachusetts and it's a combination of the New England states, it runs for about 3 weeks; and it's massive! I'm going to try to remember to do this activity! |

It is making me miss my hometown fair :,) so... if you see a lot from the Puyallup Fair (aka Washington State Fair that the locals refuse to call it) you'll know why haha. 1.
