THIS MONTH'S THEMES: Vacation, Summer
It does not have to fit both themes, just one or the other.
However, I'll be giving you a prompt for each theme!

FIRST: Pick a sentence and fill in the blanks.

* My favorite thing to do or see while on Vacation is ____.
* ____ makes me wish it was Summer year round.

SECOND: Go take a picture of whatever you filled in the blank with!
If it's a feeling or something intangible, take a picture that represents it in some way, either by emotion or correlation.

THE RULES

- The picture must be taken by you.
- One picture per player.
- The picture must be on theme and follow the prompt.
- The picture must be HP appropriate.

- Entrees are accepted: Now through June 22nd
- Voting will be open: June 23rd to 29th
- Winners announced: June 30th

Second Place: 7500 points on an animal
Third Place: 5000 points on an animal

My favorite thing to do or see while on Vacation is the visit the rugged, hidden beaches of Philip Island in Victoria, Australia.

This photo is of my husband and son a few weeks ago, before Winter came to the East coast with a vengeance. It was one of those picture-perfect days, where you have the entire beach to yourselves, lots of good food and a smiling, happy kid.

My favorite thing to do on vacation is go to the beach. I am obsessed with the water. Points to dog 144221.

This is from when I went to Florida to visit my eldest sister and her family in 2021. They live near Ft Lauderdale but we went road tripping all the way across the state to Naples. Beautiful soft, white sand. We were supposed to see a green sun, but I got a green beach instead. Those are my neices and nephews in the background.

My favorite thing to do on vacation is visit national parks! This was taken in June 2021 at Yellowstone National Park.

To be honest, the biggest thing I love to do on vacation is try to get that perfect shot. This is one of my proudest pictures and represents a time when I really got that perfect shot that was exactly everything I wanted it to be. I should try to do this more even when I'm not on vacation, but I just have so little time for photography these days. *sigh*
