Not sure if this has already been discussed, but why did you choose your breed?

I'll start: I decided to raise thoroughbreds because of a movie depicting racing horses. Instantly fell in love with the breed.

Siberian Huskies - I have always loved Siberian Huskies, I used to own one in RL.

Anatolian Shepherds - I got two pups from Kyuubi and I am starting them this sunday!

Jack Russell Terriers - They are adorable and I own the highest pointed JRT on the game with 2 million points!

Corgis - They are sooo cute! I've wanted to breed them on here for a long time and now I finally am.

Entlebucher Mountain Dogs - Inaya inspired me to start breeding these! Plus they are from Switzerland!!

Bull Terriers - Seriously? These are some of the cutest dogs, I am glad HP has them!

I do Paints because of my two real Paint Horses. :)
I do Belgium Warmbloods because when I would make premades/graphic order I had the most fun doing WB and Sporthorse photos, so I thought it would be fun to do that, haha.

And I do Dire Wolves with Whynn now because of Game of Thrones. :D

I chose Assateagues, Chincoteagues, Quarter Ponies, & Lac La Croix because I ride ponies IRL in mounted games (MGAA) and the pony I used to compete on is a Chincoteague.  I don't know why I picked Criollos... I just like them, I guess? And I started doing Straight Egyptian Arabians because none of the other breeds are very popular and I wanted to breed something that a bunch of other people were into.

Shelties - I grew up with Shelties and fell in love with them. I bred these on HL for forever, naturally had to start them on HP too.

Collies - I have Collies now IRL and absolutely adore them, favorite breed ever.

Belgian Warmbloods - Started these to help someone who wanted to get them added, but I've been riding H/J my whole life and all my favorite famous horses are Belgian Warmbloods. I've always adored Sapphire and I like Beezie's little Coral Reef Via Volo too. Oooo and Big Ben, I've had a Breyer horse of him for ages and he's one of my favorites too.

Corgis - just started on a partner account

Paints, because I own and show them in real life :)

I've been doing Appaloosas since my HL days. I chose them because the farm where I rode bred them and I thought they were an interesting breed. Now some of my favorite horses ever have been Appaloosas so it's fitting that I continue them.

I'm with Blitz, this will be a long list.

Appaloosas on here because I bred them on HL and became known for them. When I joined HL I couldn't decide what to breed so I picked a random number, counted that many down the breed list, and it was apps. I've bred them ever since (9 years later...)

Andalusians with Blitz because of the HMF training contest back in the day

Unicorns because I drooled over Moorfine's lines for a long time

American Quarter Horses because Lemo wanted to re-start them but didn't want to do them alone

Adranthloosas because I created them

Paints because I drooled over Aza's lines for ages, and because Overture's pictures of her real life duo are always adorable

Pegasus with Azalie because I already bred unicorns and adranthloosas, so why not add in another mythical? Also, like Neke said, Hercules movie. 

Beaucerons because I bred them on HL. Over there one day I was looking for a really rare dog breed to start. I've always pretty much been the only consistent breeder. Other people say they'll start them, and they stop before breeding a full generation.

Wolves because Stronks sold me Farkas years ago, and some people trash-talked me about how wolves weren't my breed. :P So I had to defy them, and I've bred kick-butt wolves ever since.

Direwolves because I was mad that since 2012 I'd had GoT themed wolves, and NOW direwolves were added in. And because, you know, GoT.

Golden Retrievers because I used to own one, and I always drooled over Blitz's golden lines on HL.

Dalmatians are a carry-over from HL. But I started them on there to keep up with my theme of spotted animals.

German Shepherds I'm not positive. I've always loved the breed in real life, and I know I used to drool over Lemo's lines. I started them on here with Etiqueta originally, and kept going with them after she dropped out of HP for awhile.

That's all I've got going at the moment, I think.

Oldenburgs - based off my real life horse :)

Andalusians - because Neke had a gorgeous premade in auctions

Percherons - because Tronic gifted me some

French Bulldogs - because I couldn't resist

Moral of the story? I can't say no apparently.

American quarter horses because I've always been a such a fool for a big muscle butt.

i had them on hl for awhile and started them here. Sadly life got in the way in 2010 and I quit but luckily my lines didn't die off. I will be getting a foal from tronic in a week or so that contains all my old lines. 

I used to have American minis on hl but they didn't make the transition to hp

i had poodles on hp but started them right when life happened so they didn't last

i now have 4 french Bulldogs that I bought on a whim. I'm not overly fond of them but they will live on.

ive never been good at dogs so yea :/
