RR DOCS SNOW DRIFT is a 4 year old AQHA mare with running lineage.

She comes to us very skinny, and hard to catch, and untouched in every way.

Last night we had a breakthrough of her being easy to catch.  Unfortunately, it was rainy so I did not have my phone out.

Gonna try again tonight.

She needs to be catchable prior to May :p

I think it would be easier if I have my setup here.
But we aren't because we intend to sell next fall.

Yes; sell the acreage and buy the bigger land.
Round pen and arena, then.

Last night she not only came up willingly BEFORE the other mares, but she was allll in for scratches.  ♥

Tonight I caught her without oats (THIS IS HUGE) and took a rasp to her front feet.  Not perfect but my god she was so good.
AND.
No more ribs showing :)

I spoke to soon.
Yesterday she donkey booted me.
Mostly because of food in the area and other horses.
BUUUUUT.

Owee.

I will take a few tonight of all three girls (if I get off work when there's light).
I am fine - it was one of those things.
Roxie squealed at Jane who turned to boot Drift, saw I was there and instead did an ear pin stomp, but Drift booted.
Effing ladies be cows :p
