SO I JUST GOT A NEW SLOW COOKER
(THAT DOES NOT MAKE ME WORRY ABOUT BURNING MY HOUSE DOWN)
AND I NEED RECIPES FOR MEALS.

FOR CONTEXT, I WORK 10-12 HOUR DAYS AND WOULD LIKE TO BE ABLE TOPREP THE NIGHT BEFORE,
THROW FROM THE FRIDGE TO THE POT AT 6 AM, AND EAT AT 6PM.

SO... ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Beef Stew

2 lbs. beef stew meat, cut into one inch cubes
1 bay leaf
1 tsp. paprika
1/4 cup flour 4 carrots, sliced
1/2 tsp. salt 3 potatoes, diced
1/2 tsp. pepper 1 onion, chopped
1 1/2 cups beef broth
1 stalk celery, sliced
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup barley
1 clove garlic, minced 1/2 cup water

Put meat in slow cooker. Mix flour, salt, and pepper. Pour over meat and stir to coat meat with flour. Add remaining ingredients and stir to mix well. Cover and cook on low for 10-12 hours (high for 4-6 hours). Stir stew thoroughly before serving. Serves 6.

Here is one of my slow cooker favorites! It's especially good in cold and damp weather.

Bean Supreme

Ingredients
1 pound ground beef (Chicken works too)
1 Chopped onion
1/3 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Cup Ketchup
1 TBSP Mustard Powder
1 TSP Worchestershire Sauce (I do put a little more in mine, but I love the stuff XD)
1 Can Pork & Beans
1 Can Chili Beans (Any kind)
3 Cans of any other beans (I personally like Dark Red Kidney Beans, Greath Northern Beans & Black Beans)

Brown beef in pan and strain excess grease.
Drain and rinse the 3 cans of varying beans.
Do NOT drain the Chili Beans & Pork & Beans, put the entire cans into the slow cooker.
Place all ingredients in the slow cooker and stir.
Cook for a maximum of 8 hours on low, 4 or 5 on high. Stir occasionally if desired, but not needed. (I have found that it tends to stick and burn after the 8 hour mark)
