POET AND DIDN'T EVEN KNOW IT
This is a fun game I used to play on a writers forum!

Player 1 - POSTS A PHRASE.
Player 2 - POSTS SOMETHING TO RHYME, then POSTS A NEW PHRASE
Player 3 - POSTS SOMETHING TO RHYME, then POSTS A NEW PHRASE
And so on!

I'll start us off:

CAKE IS DELICIOUS

I FORGOT.

My brain is like a sponge...

...soakin' up the good & bad while yelling, "Let's take a plunge!"

Grief is awfully hard....

And there is never any reward ♥

The dark is a lonely place.

We're armed with light and love, just in case.

Annoyed with the selected pieces on this radio station....

The fact that the classical radio station has decided to come back into FM range fills me with elation!

I spend way too much time thinking of accomplishing tasks and the need to-do.....

Instead of being out making some slime goo! xP

I spy with my little eye something that goes "zing!"....

A thing that goes zing like a shiny ring! 

To add to my collection of shiny things ... 

They make me feel rich and grand like a king!

Stormy weather never lasts....

Or so she hopes and prays with a beseeching clasp.

Finally figured out which movie boasts that song I heard in the grocery store....

Perhaps I should call in and ask for more?

I've a bad habit of chewing my chapped lips.....

Better than scratching at my hips.

I fell and hurt my ankle.

Hope it didn't twist at an odd angle.

My lips are chapped, still....

Now there is a draft and I've got a chill. 

Guess it is time for this old'un to go to bed....

Eyre, go to bed!! Did you hear what I said?! 

In my head, a certain song is stuck.....

LIKE A STICK HITTING A PUCK.

I AM WAY TOO DANG TIRED.

which is why the craziness transpired

I am at my wit's end

And could really use a friend.

Chips are delicious.

But, sometimes, they look suspicious.

Can't believe I've got jury duty again....
