POET AND DIDN'T EVEN KNOW IT
This is a fun game I used to play on a writers forum!

Player 1 - POSTS A PHRASE.
Player 2 - POSTS SOMETHING TO RHYME, then POSTS A NEW PHRASE
Player 3 - POSTS SOMETHING TO RHYME, then POSTS A NEW PHRASE
And so on!

I'll start us off:

CAKE IS DELICIOUS

Only time for a few! 

Chores.. how they are such a bore 

Just like asking what she wore.

My watch is itchy itchy itchy,

I should probably switchy. 

I really need to sleep, 

Soon enough the alarm will say "Beep!"

My hands could use some lotion.....

So I can move better with the motion.

The dog kept barking all night long

As if he were signing his own doggie song.

If I could go anywhere alone I would not.....

But if with a friend, I'd go a lot!

The little monster gave me a fright..

Probably because the room was not so bright.

I don't rhyme very well...

Good thing you're still pretty swell!

My nose is cold....

but there's no mold!

I like to walk

along a line of chalk.

I whistle and hum,

while I chew gum.

Sometimes I listen

I buy all the pretty felts

The cook is in the kitchen

and the scullerymaid listen.

I sit by the the hearth

here on this earth.

My cats are fighting

The bugs are biting.

The weather is muggy.

and it's getting kind of buggy.

We're almost out of milk

and I need to buy some silk.

I think it's time to take a nap
