Hey everyone!

Sometime this coming week we should be getting a major new feature into the game! So I’m going to give you a little preview of what it will be now (and I’ll post a more detailed post of exactly how it works once it comes out so everyone knows how to use it).

I talked about it in one of my previous posts, but basically we are going to automate Binny’s sales and add those items (plus a few new ones) into the store! Basically this way, we can easily make things available in the store, and then things like retirement breedings will happen instantly once they’ve been paid for instead of waiting for an admin to do it.

Plus, since it’ll be programmed in, we can add some cool, new things that we wouldn’t have been able to do manually! This is the list of what will be in the store to start:

so my question is this..Are these new updates going to be up and going during the hp mascot contest?

Unless something goes badly wrong with the programming, yes!

Any hints as to what the prices (both USD and HPD) are going to be?

We're not sure yet! It's still being decided, we'll more than likely set prices and then adjust based on demand for certain items, since we're not completely sure what will and won't be popular.

im just concerned that these items will only be available for the elite of hp - the ones that have hundreds of millions and billions.  Will the lower class of hp players who don't have these kind of funds? will it be fair priced for them as well?  

Prices will be similar to Binny's sales. We're also offering the USD option and the point-trading option, so everyone should have the opportunity to use the store if they want to!

part of me cant wait for this, but then the other part says this is gunna be disasterous!

What you should do is trial everything for like a month? then go back and re adjust if needed? Personally im excited for being able to pick the gender, the double tickets and mostly the twin potion!

Like with anything, if it doesn't work, we will re-evaluate and go from there!

So only the elite can afford to buy these new perks.  Not every player can afford to pay in USD. 

I cannot wait! I am most looking forward to retirement breeding so I can combine my Spice and One Piece lines together and foal/pup picker. That way if you get the dreaded one sex curse you can fix it.

And USD or HPD either way would be fine with me.

There will be USD options. HPD options. And points from referrals and your achievements. You'll also be able to purchase points from players. At this time we wont know what the conversions will be, but we are "hoping" it won't go through the roof. 

We are trying to tailed to all of HP, not just te "elite" players if you wish to call them that. hence why we are exploring other options besides the HPD option. 

i guess will see how it works out.  hopefully for the better - its a great idea to be able to buy these perks anytime.  but just not the price tage that comes with it.

Well everything costs something... If these items were free, it would be totally pointless. These are special items and not having them will in no way hurt your game play. You don't /need/ two sets of tickets or retirement breedings in order to play HP and enjoy yourself. I don't understand where this 'elite' thing comes from? Some people save up for months or years even in order to do an awesome project and be able to afford extra perks like de-ages and what not.

Not everyone can afford USD to buy upgrades either, and yet many people manage to get one or more by doing services, saving money and then buying an upgrade with HPD. This will work the exact same way, you can buy the special currency with HPD, you can trade it for services, or you can just go the old fashioned way and buy the items with HPD, as well as using referral points etc. I don't get how being able to do that makes someone 'elite'...

Fantasy, I just want to mention again that there will also be a chance to trade your achievement and referral points for these things, so that players who don't have a lot of HPD or USD to spend on the game can also get the items.

People who spend USD on the game help to keep us alive. If no one ever spent USD on HP, HP would close because we wouldnt be able to support ourselves anymore. They keep the new updates flowing, they keep me being able to work on HP full time, and they keep our servers and stuff online. We love ALL of our players, whether they pay USD to play the game or not (and for that reason we are offering other options).

These sales aren't a new thing, Binny holds them every few months, and before that Sola held them monthly. All we're really doing here is automating it so it's less work for everyone and giving people more ways to pay for the things in an attempt to make it MORE fair for everyone.
