Yup!

It's been FIVE WHOLE YEARS!

Wonderful, successful, amazing, fun-filled years :P. I'm so happy that we have made it this far, and so thankful that HP has been so successful, and also love the community we have grown into :).

So, for our "official" birthday this spring, we should celebrate! Any thoughts on events, contests, etc. for our big birthday bash?

And here's to five more successful years!

Everyone should get random presents (de-agers, money, tickets, shows, etc.), discount on upgrades and, of course, our chat parties! Bring cake to the partayyy! (;

Maybe everybody should get to choose one birthday present of something that isn't available normally (such as de-agers, gender changes, 100k points on any animal). Or everyone gets an upgrade for 2 weeks on existing basic accounts :)

I can't believe that despite having an account and playing sporadically for a week or so, it has taking me this long to actually play HP properly! It's all you lovely people on here that make all the difference

What about 3 month upgrade to active players?

I like the ideas of everyone getting a present that we normally dont see in stores. One gift to choose from (or receive randomly) could be a custom horse or pairs of horses with x amount of points of the persons choosing (: & of course a chat party! Those are  always fun!

Whoooaaaaaah you guys are throwing out some huge present ideas. I was thinking like. An achievement or a card sent out or something. Not anything tangible like more money (which we're trying to create less money) or huge things like deagers or gender changes.

And DEFINITELY not free upgrade time. That's sam's income you guys. XD That'd be like my store just handing out free merchandise for a day. Hundreds of players getting a month of free upgrade time at $5 each? *cringe* A sale on upgrades would be fine, I think. I would say $5 off but then month upgrades would be free... Unless we just excluded them from the sale. Sales have historically not actually gone over all that well which baffles my little retail mind, but it's something to think about.

And of COURSE A CHAT PARTY! It's a birthday party! :D

^^^^^  Chao is 100% right!  We can't get to greedy you guys!  I think a sale is a great idea, and maybe have a chat party with a choose your prize from a select list type deal?  That way every winner is really happy with what they get!

Also, like the idea of an achievement!

Upgrade sales haven't worked in the past. Sam has made almost nothing off of them, and then sales tank the next month. So I'm betting that's a no-go. I don't think we all need presents - our reward is getting to play the awesome game that HP is. If anything, we should all give Sam stuff for creating it for us!

What day is the offically 'spring' birthday?! I can't believe it has really been five years already! This is also my fifth year with the game!!

Wow, five years already, that's crazy!  I joined almost five years ago and didn't even know haha.  I definitely like the idea of an acheivement of some sort for 'being here to wish HP a happy birthday' becuase acheivements are cool.  And a birthday chat party of course sounds lovely.

Happy Birthday HP! So glad this game is around and I think a chat party and an achievement badge and that you only get something like you usually do at chats but thats it.

I think that hp players should get together and do something nice for Sam like a community thank you and happy birthday to her. I think she deserves someting for all she does. I bet she would love to get something from all of us. Maybe like the quilt but make it towards Sam and HP.
