Age Changes

HP is officially changing it's minimum age requirements! Players now must be 16 or older to play HP - this is both to meet changing legal age requirements around the world and also just to better reflect the maturity level of the community.

I will be making the changes to the login form today, updating the TOS and privacy policy to reflect this, and also deleting all accounts with birthdates that show they are under the age of 16. Additionally, I will be updating the filters to remove common swear words (but they will still catch the more serious stuff).

So, with that in mind, we are lifting our ban on swearing (sort of). The rule is now "No excessive or sexually explicit swearing, or using swear words to attack or harm other people (which you shouldn't be doing anyway)." Obviously, we are within our right to warn you if we think you're being excessive or breaking our use common sense or toeing the line rules.

Final Mascot Point Check-In

This is the last mascot point check in before the contest ends! As a reminder you will have until 11:59 pm HP time on Saturday, March 23rd to gain points and then all mascots final points will be recorded. Voting will go up on Monday and last a week. Finally, any mascot entrants that did not have a backstory submitted have been disqualified.
