Healthy meal ideas

Imsure lots of us wanna lose some extra weight including me ! Ive been drinking water and trying to eat helthier BUT id like to see some healthy meal ideas that you guys might have ! it would be nice for everyone to come up with ideas that might help add some variety to adiet , OR just something new to try ! |

My favorite clean/cleanish Pinterest meals are incoming! I've made all of these at least twice. Sweet Potato Cheeseburger casserole I was a big fan of this one! Yummu the next morning tossed into eggs with a flour tortilla, too. Can't go wrong with lean protein tacos. These are one of many options! Not super healthy with all 'dat cheese, but hits that comfort food spot for me while still getting my vegetables in ;) |

Sooo my boyfriend is trying to lose weight so I can share a few of his recipes. If you guys want the actual recipe message me and I can get it from him! One thing he LOVES to make is pasta with zoodles (zucchini noodles). You can also use carrots. He likes it because its still filling, not as many carbs, and just overall healither for you because its a vegetable. The second one he just made this week was homemade veggie burgers. He is still perfecting his recipe but they were pretty tasty when I tried them.ย Lastly, it isn't a real meal, but Morning Star veggie chicken nuggets are the BEST. I don't think they taste very different from regular chicken at all. |

I recently did a chicken breast recipe that was great!
I served with squash and cheese raviollis. Basically the lean meats are my favorites (I stay away from steak or beef, even though I do love it) and tend to stick to chicken breasts. I like to add tuna packets onto my salad and I get the flavored ones. If I think of anything else I'll post again butย I tried to post things that are easy and what you can change up according to what you want. I cook a lot so I'm sure I'll have more to post later on. |

Just a heads up that these recipes are all Greek food xD (it can take a bit long, but your body will thank you) Green Beans, Greek style: it's all veggies (unless you eat it with feta) and therefore very healthy. Also goes great with feta cheese lol! The woman who runs it is a nutritionist. Personally, I've made minor tweaks to some of her recipes to make them taste like my grandma's recipes, but it doesn't make them unhealthy. Also, some of her instructions are super weird and time-consuming, so you can ask me for tips. I'll post more as I remember them. |

Here's a salad I just made. Throw it all together and voila. Top with a reasonable amount of some creamy salad dressing or use a mix of olive oil and lemon juice. You could even add some salt and pepper!

We like a lot of Lebanese and Greek cuisine here, too. A lot of it is already very plant based (or easily can be) and very rich and full of flavor without being heavy on the fat. ย I like to make a huge pot of taco filling every week. It's just a can of red beans, a can of black beans, rice (2 cups dry thrown in the rice cooker), a generous amount of salsa and taco sauce, and then I crumble firm or extra firm tofu and throw it in a frying pan with taco seasoning. This makes enough to fill an entire pot when it's all done and shuts the roommates up pretty well. As for the tacos themselves, honestly they're pretty good with just some extra salsa or sauce, and avocados. A dollop of plain Greek yogurt makes for a healthier substitute for sour cream.ย ย Gardein vegan chicken sliders are amazing and completely indistinguishable from real chicken. Same with their vegan ground beef substitute. Our roommate thought we caved on the whole vegetarian thing.ย Link Tree |
