So one of my boss ladies is a registered Golden Retriever breeder, and she picks a puppy out of each litter to keep and continue her lines with. She recently had a baby, so her most recent two litters (she generally breeds one to two litters in 12 to 18 months) will be her last for a long time while she raises her baby. She picked the two puppies out of her litters to keep and since she's going to be super busy with baby, she gave them to me to raise!

They are 13 weeks old and their littermates have just gone to their new forever homes this past weekend.

They are the most beautifully tempered girls in the world, I swear. I haven't spent much time with Golden puppies but I am loving these two so far. Such easy babies! They are so eager to learn, too. I also got to name them! Lucy is going to incorporate their call names in their registered names xD

Oh my gosh! I am so jealous! I have an old lady named Duchess. We got her from Italy when we lived there and I swear she is the best dog ever. I currently have a cocker spaniel and she's a great dog, but nothing will beat Duchess!

Thanks, tronic! She's super sweet! I used to wish that she had longer hair like other goldens, but I think she's perfect. Especially in her old age as she loses her eye sight and hearing.

I have four of boss lady's 11 month olds here too. She gets a lot of people asking about buying older, mature dogs but she never has any available so she has decided to keep four out of a ten-litter specifically for this purpose and they are here with me. I am raising and training them so that one day in the future they will make some families very happy!

THE HAIR. I do not love the hair. Especially now coming into summer. They are losing their winter coats and jesus. I swear you could brush one and make five more.
