April Breed Spotlight

Each month we will pick a new rare-on-HP breed and give away a pointed pair of them in order to boost the number of breeders of that animal! We will rotate between horse breeds and dog breeds every other month! The giveaway will be drawn, and the new breed posted on (or as close as possible to) the 15th of each month!
This month's breed is: Miniature Poodles!
About Miniature PoodlesPoodles are a breed of curly haired dogs which naturally come in either black or white. There are several sizes of poodle, including standard, miniature (this giveaway!), and toy poodles. They are ranked the second most intelligent dog breed, just behind the Border Collie, and are proficient at many canine sports. Miniature Poodles are bred mainly for companonship, although in the past they may have been used for truffle hunting because their small size was less likely to damage the delicate truffles. Many people believe Poodles to be hypoallergienic, and while this is untrue, their curly hair traps dander so it is not as easily released into the environment, which can be easier on many people's dog allergies.

Miniature Poodles are my favorite! Tuff is part Poodle and I started this account to save up and do a Poodle project! Winning this pair would be amazing, and be a fantastic start to my Miniature Poodle lines! |

I need to bring my back! My favorite mini breed are actually Dachshunds, because Dachshunds... But I had an ex boyfriend who had a miniature and toy poodle and they were adroable! The were the whole reason I started them when I first came to HP back in 2010! |
