How many foals do you guys consider too many for one mare and or stallion? 

On here? Most people don't breed more than like. Two. Bigger project animals might have more as part of their fundraising (auctioning off slots).

Yep Chao said it. It's really up to you though and how much you want to train/sell.

i perssonally only allow an outside foal every 3 generations

so 95% of my lines only have 1 foal

i also have strict rules on placed foals

I tend to only allow one foal/pup per pair, unless it's a project animal, in which case I'd allow up to two (one 'back up' breeding and my own final breeding).

Another question, if you buy a foal from another breeder and they didn't brand it, do you put their brand on it? Or your own? 

I'm only planning on two foals for myself, but I leased my mare to another player who had high pointed stallions, but no mares. 

I usually do a backup and a final, but it depends on the line or what I'm wanting to do on if I'll offer the backup for sale or not. As far as branding I typically will put whoever I bought it froms brand, just feel like it's more of a respect thing? But that's me :)

I always put the brand of the person who I bought it from and only start using my brand on animals I've bred.

I think anything over 2 is too many.

I usually do 3, but delete 2 on my private line.

I do 3 and sell 2 on my public lines...

basically 1 at 16,1 at 18 and the final at 20.

most I've done is 3.. but that is pushing it.
