i am looking for the lovely gimp users of hp to help me make HP Helper more helpful to new player, I dont have enough knowledge or working experience with the program to be of much help to new players who take it up. 

so what i need from you are video tutorials of things like cutting out horses, placing them on background, basic blending, lighting and shadows.

how to make a video tutorial well all you have to do is find a screen recording program i use screenpresso atm and that has a video feature -if a little tricky to figure out how to stop recording lol- 

you do not need to edit the video but if you could that be awesome too. please email me the movie file .avi to noosaroey@hotmail.com, also dont forget to include your hp name and number in the email so i can credit the video to you :)

I use Gimp and am utterly awful with it....so I'd be really interested in following whatever useful information you get too!
Figuring out how to get pretty fonts/brushes and adding them would be helpful to know too!

I am taking the time to relearn GIMP- alot of it is coming back rather quickly.

all you need is a screen recorder as mentioned above. Google free screen recorder, make sure it can take video's and not just screens.

I am not great at graphics, but I have 2 useful things that I know how to do on there that are basics. Do I need to use a mic with it though?

no just include a step by step list in the email along with the video link and ill do the subbing/voice over. even basic stuff is great! because we all need a little help and for those who have never touched a graphics program before it the best!

yes da is a great resource for those who can follow the screen step process but there are some wo either prefer videos or fail the screen step by step and go looking for vids. these are for those folks. One day when i have time i will link da tutorials lol.
