I am over the moon with his appearane now, I am so proud of my Chieffy butt now. Just need to chuck a wormer through him, bath, good groom and get his hooves trimmed and ready to hit the halter scene!

I am so over the moon, and what really helps is I have now been totally cleared of any wrong doing.

All my horses were inspected today, and the inspector told me that they (rspca) had received over 100 references for me and my horse keeping/caring skills. The big transformation of Chief, cemented it for her.

He injured himself :(

Overreached in the paddock being a dillybat, and sliced his forehoof just above the coronet. He did a good job of it, just missed vitals, had a flap hanging, but that was saved, and three weeks later, hes just got a bit of proud flesh, 100% sound, but hating me right now :(

The price we pay to have healthy happy horses.

Need to wrap horses in bubble wrap, I swear. They're so great at getting themselves hurt. 

It's good to hear that he didn't mess  himself up too bad, and that he's in good health otherwise.
