An in season mare will be a nightmare no matter what you are trying to do. Lol we had a few growing up and during that time you can forget about doing anything else.Ā

Fare: I think, though, that the harness rubbing on the mare's flank was bringing her into season. That's how it seemed to me. Rather odd. Haha!

My mare is great, even when she is in season haha. It cracks me up how many people have such negative thoughts on mares being wicked. :PĀ

I have not been around too many mares though, just mainly mine, and I wouldnt trade her for anything!
