Once again.. lol.

My green cheek conure passed away from unknown causes a little while ago. I miss him :(

So I am taking my flock count back up to 7 with the 5 week old Eclectus chick I am picking up today! He's still (obviously) on formula and I WAS looking for a weaned bird because I didn't reeeeeally want to hand feed again until the next clutch of my own (not for like.. a year), but I gave in when the guy contacted me about this little guy. I can't wait to get him home! I am driving 2.5 hours to get him lol.

He's home! And he's huge lol. So not used to chicks this big! You need two hands to pick him up :P

He is such a little doll omg. He's so mellow and chill. And i've heard a lot of Eclectus breeders say chicks are super slow feeders, but this guy certainly doesn't waste any time when it comes to food LOL.
