Struggling to choose!

I've been playing horse sim games for the better part of 19 years LOL. I love Quarter Horses, Shire Horses, Clydesdales, Percherons, Pintaloosas and Standardbreds.... and a number of other breeds which are not on this game (like the Dutch Heavy Draught *sniff sniff*). Problem is I get really bored really quickly breeding the same thing over and over again. I was contemplating breeding either Oldenburgs or Belgian Warmbloods this time around... but i'm not sure about them either. They are gorgeous (I googled pics of them lol). However my heart is not set on them. I generally try to choose a breed that has as many colours as possible, whilst also being a breed that is not so popular on the game that it's overbred to oblivion. I know I don't want to do Paint Horses or Appaloosas. Anyone got any ideas of some great horses to get into that are relatively few, but not so few there's no market for them here? I'm rather partial when it comes to draught horses :) Sorry these kinds of threads must get annoying!

I've never really bred horses (I dabble on my spare account, usually unsuccessfully) but whenever I'm interested in a breed, I go onto search and I look at how many there are, what points they have, their ages, etc. From there you can also take a peek at who's breeding them and message them to see if there lines are strictly private or if they'd be willing to share studs or foals with you if you started. You'll probably get a few people messaging on this forum with some opinions, but if you wanted to get some info on your own that's the route I suggest. :) |

I vote standards based on that list. Gotta represent the gaited breeds yo.
However I do second Georgian Grandes. Because I breed those too. They're saddlebreds crossed with Friesians or Percheron. Link Tree |

Love Standardbreds, but i've bred them so much they get boring lol.
I love the idea of the Georgian Grande, Oldenburg and Belgian Warmblood. I also love the Clydesdale and my favourite ever breed is Percheron. Hahahaha. So it's a toss up betewen those five breeds I think. |
