As many are aware of at this point, I am working on my Vegas-line AQH and I've been putting lots of money into them to ensure their success {both real and virtual currencies}.  To say that I'm happy with what their progress is an understatement; they're exceling much faster at the end of their years than I had estimated, so I hope this continues by the time they hit their breeding age of 19 years. 

My over-all goal is to have them at 1.5 million or 2.5 million, if at all possible to ensure a 100k - 200k baby to start my lines off right. Below is their current point chart {note that all points are what they ended with that year} 

SHEZA LUCKY LADY: 

3yrs - 17,000

4yrs - 115,000

5yrs - 152,970

6yrs - 218, 850

GAMBLIN' JACK: 

3yrs - 41,500

4yrs - 110,000

5yrs - 161,200

6yrs - 215, 435 

What do you believe their end points will be and what should I do to up them up? I do not mind going OVER my goal, but I do not want them UNDER it! I've also heard that Private Shows are good add-ons for horses too, how many points do they give on average?  

i would either buy spots or whole shows
i have about 10-15 private shows i buy for my top two lines (your welcome to stalk)
i also enter every assoc/club show i can with them. they are varying ages so that should give you an idea. 
honestly unless your going for a huge goal (5m ) or more i wouldn't even bother at tickets.
also breedings ideally would be at 18/20 or the saturday right before they turn 21. (i do the 20 mark)

I purchased my line from the store on 6/7/15 and they really peaked at 4yrs with 100k since that was that age goal, but between 5-6yrs things dropped like a rock. I was wanting them to have 200k by 5yrs and 300k by 6yrs, but unfortunately that did not work out; since their purchase date, I have been slamming them with H-Tixs in bulks with as many as I could find but those only work for the 4 year mark. Afterwards, they were pretty much a waste of over 8.5mil HPD..

Because of this, when they hit 7yrs {this Sunday}, I will be training them extra heavily but I will definitely start trying to enter association/clubs show and focus on buying just privates from now on. Hopefully, I can get some points racked up before their breeding date - Which is still undecided really. If they're at their goal by 18, I'll breed them then, possibly or I'll wait till they're 20 and breed them that night with their final tally. I do not mind going over, but I'll be very annoyed if they're under..

You can hit 1.5 with a few private spots and club/assoc shows. If you want 2.5 you are going to need to push private spots as much as possible. Training later in the week when more shows are made is also better. Also don't stress so much on weekly goals. But you do need at least a 1.4-1.5 to get a 100k foal (I just bred a pair1.4 x 1.29 and got a 96k foal) so keep that in mind. And that's without training for the week. If I would have trained then bred probably would have gotten the 100k foal but yea I'm good with that foal 

Okay - I'll keep that mind, thank-you. I just got my AQH's in Clubs/Associations, public shows & I'm going to reserve privates as well. Already they've jumped to 251k - 252k so we'll see at the end of the week where they end up! I've been pouring money into this line as much as possible trying to get weekly goals, so I'll not worry about that. I'm just spending more than I'm actually gaining as H-Tixs give only 75 points, I have to buy over 500 tixs to get a decent amount.

For now, the overall goal is 1.5mil - 2.5mil by the time they're 20 for a good-lined, good-pointed quality foal!

He's a store who I just entered in club/association plus 10 private shows a week, granted they were my own shows so I didn't have to spend any sort of fortune and he ended up with 2.2m by retirement, so to second what Maharet has been saying and if you're patient enough try searching out the least flooded public shows possible, I've used that before but it requires you to search shows by show, page by page to find them.
