January Breed Spotlight

This month, our breed spotlights are getting a bit wild...the Drum Horse, Dulmen Pony, Garrano, Sorraia, and Spanish Mustang will be in the Store for the week, before returning to the Cash Shop for another year.

Drum Horse - The Drum Horse is a crossbreed created by breeding a Gypsy Vanner with either a Shire or a Clydesdale. It is based on and named for the horses in the Life Guards of the British Royal Household Cavalry who carry large silver kettle drums and their drummer. The current highest-pointed Drum Horse is Raleigh, owned by primrose!

Dulmen Pony - Also known as the Dülmener or the Merfelderbrücher, the Dulmen Pony is an endangered small feral pony from Germany. The current highest-pointed Dulmen Pony is Checkmate, owned by Zinc!

Garrano - The Garrano is an endangered breed of pony from Northern Spain and Portugal that has remained unchanged for thousands of years. The current highest-pointed Garrano is Balnora, owned by Lady Rancher (RIP)!

Sorraia - The Sorraia is a Portuguese rare breed of horse. They are known for their primative look, including a convex profile and dun color. The current highest-pointed Sorraia is Kroob, owned by wicket!

Spanish Mustang - The Spanish Mustang is an American horse that originates with the horses brought over by Spanish Conquistadors to modern-day Mexico in the 16th century. The current highest-pointed Spanish Mustang is Eros, owned by Irishii & Whynn!

Also, don't forget that the Flameta can also be found in the store for the entire month of January, in honour of 2026 being the Year of the Fire Horse!
