Pricing:

So I'm very new to HP (as you can see), but I was a long time HL player and really missed doing art so I went looking for a game that would let me focus on that side of things again. I don't have the ability to post an auction yet (i'm assuming since auctions can have layouts and i'm not whitelisted for coding yet?), but i'm trying to go ahead and make some premade horse images so that i'm ready to go when i can post the listings. But I have no idea what to price things at...

here is the first premade:

if i could get some opinions on what you think a fair price for that would be, that would be great.

Interest Checks:

I'm also good at a few other types of art, they take longer but I do tend to enjoy them more, so I figured I would check and see if there's any interest or a market at all for these before I go wasting time on them if they aren't something that sells well on here. If you could just let me know if you think any of these would be of interest for you.

Pixel Art

I'm thinking forum tags / signatures, little page decorations, maybe buttons for layouts etc. I also thought about making small little layouts with pixel art. Also with tags, do you guys like the auction model where people bid on slots for custom colorings of a base? Or would you prefer to see 100% unique tags, so each tag is a custom and there is no base to recolor?

Linearts / Grayscales

I'm pretty good at drawing horses (and not much else tbh, thank you hyperfixation) and I like to make my own linearts and grayscales, they're not fast to make but I really enjoy the process. Would there be any interest in custom line arts or grayscales that you can color yourself?

Custom Colors

In the same vein as the grayscales, would there be any interest custom colorings of linearts I've already made (once I have a stash built up) at a lesser rate since recolors are easier?

Repeating Backgrounds

I saw mention in chat recently that colorlovers is becoming a problem to use, which is sad because I used to use them for repeating backgrounds too. But once upon a time (like over a decade ago), I did learn to make my own repeating backgrounds for the fun of it. Do y'all think there is a market for this?

and sorry for the massive post. I'm just an adult that works full time so I'm trying to get a feel for what people would like to see so I can make the best use of my limited art time. lol.

PS. If there is some kind of art you would like to see that I didn't list here, throw ideas at me. I probably just didn't think of it.

I suck with pricing, but pretty!

Forum tags and signatures, sign me up! I would totally purchase them! I'm not the best at pricing but you could always start in the auctions with no AB and see what people bid to get a general idea. 

Definitely would be a market for avatars I feel like! I used to see a ton of ppl advertising those and hardly see many at all anymore. Especially for us dog focused breeders!!

For graphics in the auctions you don't have to put a starting bid or autobuy, that's how I figure out how to price stuff.  I never know how to price my stuff lol
