i'll go first; today the team pranked our doctor. everyone showed up to work on time of course, but we had to make it look like we didn't. we all hid in the team center one hallway over, and we heard a fellow colleague telling him that we all called out for various reasons and that the PA had to leave due to someone getting sick. he immediately called admin saying "yea there's 8 patients checked in and sitting in the lobby and my team isn't here"
at that point we had to come out and he looked back at us and was like nvm they're just pranking me, hung up the phone and starts laughing saying you fuckers that was good. 

side note, all of his patients were roomed and ready to be seen by him in the next hallway over. 

i dont really do anything. nor like april fools lol cause theres alot of pranks/jokes that are pulled that never should be an idea in the first place :( cause they can be more harmfull to ones feelings or what nots.

I know one year my brothers and I pranked my dad - there was this spray nozzle attached separately attached on the bathroom sink, and so we rubber-banded the trigger so it would stay on and he got a bit of an unplanned shower. xD hehe

My mom also liked to switch the cereal bags in the boxes ;P

We super glued our mechanic's water bottle to his workbench :D

This is so stereotypical, but my kids are young, so I had to.

I cut a few letter E's out of brown construction paper, and put them on a plate covered in tin foil. Then I called for my kids and asked if they wanted brownies. They came over all excited. 

They were much less excited for a plate of brown E's. 

(yes, I had real brownies ready to go lmao)

i'm telling that one to my dr. he has 3 kids and will come with all the best dad jokes. i'm sure he'll appreciate this one! lol

I don't have anything good I've done to anyone but my sisters got me good back when we all lived together and I was still in high school. They put saran wrap under the caps of all my shampoo, conditioner and body wash bottles so nothing would come out when you squeezed. In addition to that they put rocks in my backpack and I didn't realize it until the end of the day. I legit went through my whole day feeling like my bag was heavier but I carried books alot so I thought it was just me. Only to find at the end of the day 3 large rocks sitting at the bottom of my bag... They got me pretty good 

I'm not really good at coming up with pranks myself. But my husband is clever with April fools every year. He has a remote, work from home job. But he still finds a way to mess with his team members in one way or another evert year. Like one year, he had them all dead set convinced that they all had a huge project to each complete by end of the day. They were all scrambling around and stressing over it in their TEAMS chat screen for hours until he told them all that it was a joke.

I loved yours, Jaya! As a mom myself, I found that hilarious! But as a mom of a same aged child as you, I'm  also relieved to hear that you did have real brownies for them afterwards. haha

I'm terrible at jokes and pranks, giving or receiving. I always remember a few years back my favorite local radio morning show actually got me pretty good on April Fools. They announced that our county had signed a new pet tax into law and we had to report to our local animal services office to have our pets weighed as they were charging by the pound. It was way too early and I was still half asleep and all I could do was sit there aghast and think about how I was going to have to lug my massive chonk of a cat down there and pay a small fortune. LoL, yeah I'm super gullible. 

I haven't done an April Fools joke in soooo long but several years ago I bought a scratch off that had a $1mil prize on it (not a winning # unfortunately) and started screaming and jumping up & down and showed my hubby the "winning ticket". I didn't let it go on long bc poor guy was already planning our future with it and was sooo excited xD he took it well tho and thought it was funny bc he knew I'd have lost it more than I did xD

I don't like April Fools Day because its a silly way to bring in Spring and other reasons that i won't mention. 

But that being said my sister loves it. the place she works, they put butter in the driver managers oven mitts (he was getting new ones anyways)  they parked his car super super close to the other one, and they rearranged the line so everything was in a different spot. a friend made her daughter grilled cheese but it wasn't grilled chese it was Angel Food caked dyed to be a Grilled Cheese

Another one here who doesn't do April fools for various reasons. I usually don't even remember about it until the evening when it's over anyway. This year on the radio they said a local dog groomers advertised they were now going doggy hair extension and they had actually had a lot of enquires so a lot of people obviously fell for that one!

I told my husband that someone broke in and stole all of my books. He just told me a joke back (not HP appropriate joke). When my son got home, I told him that someone broke in and stole all of my books. He said, "Oh no! Now what will you do for fun?" Then he ran into the living room to check my bookshelf and I said, "April Fool's!" And he grumbled that it was not a funny joke. Tough crowd!

someone did something similar to her mom, she sent a picture of american pharaoh and said how she "got a new horse" and her mom was lowkey freaking out in the text thread that she posted

I'm not a prankster and bad at jokes, but I loved participating in our April Fools events especially when we turned ourselves into famous Cats, and the Spongebob year! xD
