Suggestions/Feedback Summary, January 2025

Every month, by request, I will be making a post summarizing that month's anonymous suggestions/feedback, and my response to them. Each submission will have also been shared with the other admins for their feedback as well (especially if the submission specifically pertains to their job), and their views are also expressed here in my summary, as indicated. Feedback from other admins is in their words...I just copy and paste it into the post.

#1: Can we increase the amount of tickets within a set? Make them 100 instead of 75. This could help re-spark small project interests.

At this point, no. 

I also could be missing the thought behind this, but with how many players (myself included) with many accounts are struggling to find people to buy 75-ticket sets half the time (including with mascot quickly approaching) and people either don't want to buy or can't afford to buy, I'm not sure how having even more tickets available would help that? If I'm missing something, someone please let me know!

#2: Can an explanation be added to the crediting and coding guides on what a skeleton code is and what is and not allowed for coding use?

Yep. I added it to the Common Terms area of the Other Info help page, though...the Credit Help page is for graphics, and Code Help is for coding basics.

#3:Is there a way we could have the option to change the color of our names in the chatroom but keep all the typed text one color, preferably black or maybe a dark shade of purple? It's nearly impossible to read the lighter colors of the words without highlighting them with the mouse. It would save me a lot of squinting if the typed words were all the same color.

Like reverse it, so your name is the colour and the text you type is always standard black? There is probably a way to do this, but at this point I'm not looking to make that change. It would also be a significant enough change to the way the chat room is that I'd poll the players on if they'd want the change before implementing it either way.

Also, if the light colours are causing you grief, you could try switching to dark mode on the Edit Profile page, or asking the player politely if they could change their colour choice as you're having trouble reading it!
