I heard this puzzle game on NPR and wanted to include it in our game repetoire. I hope my explanations make sense.... For this game, think of a city or landmark anywhere in the world or U.S. --- i.e. Easter Island and disguise the place with words that rhyme --- i.e. Feaster Highland Person A posts said rhymed word(s) and the place it is located --- i.e. Feaster Highland, Polynesia Person B posts translated geographic location --- i.e. Easter Island, Polynesia ---- as well as a new rhyme and place for Person C and so forth.... Note: The clue to the location is ALWAYS the correct geographic location --- i.e. Polynesia --- the clue to the landmark/city is ALWAYS presented in a rhyme --- i.e. Feaster for Easter and Highland for Island Example posts: Person A: Tree Fest, Florida Person B: Key West, Florida and Fun Done, Great Britain Person C: London, Great Britain ..... and on it goes. Make sense? Please use fairly common geographical locations and/or landmarks and places others might know or are familiar with. It doesn't do us any good to have an obscure city like Smackover or Toad Suck that only my fellow Arkansasans might know of or about. ![]() |
