HPB Trade-In...Input Requested!

In lieu of last year's backlash surrounding this trade-in offer, I have decided that this year I will put it to a vote as to what you'd like it to be.

I have gone over last year's thread, conferred with the other admins, and have come up with 3 options to choose from as to what you'd like to have.

In case anyone is wondering...

- Yes, that thread is equally as brutal to read a year later as it was at the time.

- The $25 million amount comes from the years previous (excluding last year).

- The $10 mill was last year's amount that set the game on fire for a few days.

- The cap amount came from looking in the database at a list of top 10 players who have been active in the past year, sorted by HPB amounts on their accounts, ignoring Sam's account and the HA.

- Sale is likely to be around the 28th, because that's my last day of work for the summer, so I'll have loads of time to process the trades after that day.

- Yes, I'm serious about the rule that will exist should #2 be the winner.

- Majority rules on the poll. 

- I don't care which of the 3 wins either way, although I will likely trade in some of my HPB because why not? (says player hat blitz!)

Voted. The 300 HPB cap was much higher than I expected.

Jade, we did waffle on it a bit. My initial suggestion to the admins was 200, but then I mathed out how much 300 and 400 as a cap would spit out, vs how many players in theory on the game have that much to trade in if they chose to trade in everything. 

May I live to regret that as a cap? Sure. Won't know though until after it happens lol. Like last year obviously, figuring out the balance is a bit of trial and error because I'm not a wizard, I never got my Hogwarts letter, I can't predict the future lol

Fair enough! It wasn't a criticism, it just honestly surprised me. The cap can always be adjusted in future years if it's found to be too much for the economy. I think most players would be thankful regardless. ♥

I voted for a cap but it doesn't really apply to me as i don't have very much HPB
