I just got home a lot later than I was hoping, still needing to eat dinner, and am going to crash super early tonight.
Today was exhausting to say the least! xD

Just wanted to give you guys a heads up that I have not forgotten!
I'm just struggling to stay awake!

They have to be something from you, your home, a family member, etc.
NOT just something you googled on the interwebs or someone's random stock photo!


My visually impaired teacher gave this to me some 20yrs ago and its a miracle I still have it and it's not falling apart!


My best friend's mom gave my friend and I the same ornament around 9yrs ago because of our real kitties being sisters, so now we have sister ornaments that look just like our cats! This year just hits a bit different and makes me sad because now both sisters are back together somewhere over the rainbow bridge.

My sister and I buy matching ornaments for our trees and this is the one I got for us this year.  She is a massive Disney fan with Dumbo being her favourite character (not on the tree as I've not bothered putting mine up this year).

This ornament was a gift for husband and I the year we got married. I just love the detail on it, and it is by far my favorite ornament of all time :D

This is my second favorite ornament. I had this made in 2017, the year I took my yearling to the Paint World Show. I miss that horse, he was a once in a lifetime dude. This ornament reminds me that even my wildest dreams are within reach and that I don't have to be "ready" to shoot for the stars! (:

My son made me this at preschool. He hates doing art, so anytime he does I absolutely love it. It's adorable, and I am keeping this forever.

This is the star on my tree. It projects snowflakes onto the ceiling, and I'm addicted to it. When all the lights in the room are off and it's just the illuminated tree.... mm. Love.

My nephews make these popsicle sleds every year, though we didn't get around to it last year because, ya know 😷 (I couldn't pick just 2, I've got 3 nephews so I count this as one lol)

I don't really do christmas in my house... It's just too much stuff and i'm alone so I don't really bother.
However, I did make some creative wintery ornaments this year, for example, I made and 
this year for christmas.

The polar bear was a fun craft. It was just a plain wooden DIY I painted and put together. Then the plant thing... It's really not my favourite thing to do, and when I look at it I feel no happiness or accomplishment from it. I really don't like doing that craft lol. I will never do it again. Though atleast I can say I made this and it turned out okay, I guess XD

I don't have favourite decs, and this year I'm not celebrating because it's the first X-mas without my baby boy, Beetle, so no tree.

these are some of my newer decorations and they are special because they are the first decorations used now in our new home together. This tree I saw in the store and had to have it because of its bouncy nature and reminds me of a slinky. ?

Every year, my Nana buys me a bird to put on my tree. They are beautiful, and I have a whole flock of them now!

I'm a bit obsessed with snowmen...this is one of my more favourites on my tree...I have a lot more though!

These are new to me...got them from a vintage stall at a craft fair....bought 8. My grandparents had ones just like them on their tree when I was growing up and they were my favourite. When they both died in 2012 I asked my dad to get them for me when he and my aunts/uncles were sorting my grandparents' things but he didn't, and this year I FINALLY found some for my very own!

Both are new additions to my collection this year, but they quickly became two of my favorite pieces of decor!


I always wanted to own a village set but never had the proper space to display one, so this is my placeholder! It's a mini-village all on its own. I love it so much and it displays such pretty lights on the ceiling when the room is dark. ♥
