Tell me your favorite Thanksgiving tradition for a prize of 3 mill! Whether it's a get together with family or a favorite recipe you always make...whatever! :) Canadian Thanksgiving counts as well, and if you don't celebrate Thankgiving, tell us a favorite fall tradition! My favorite tradition is more of a pre-holiday tradition. My mom and aunts and I and whatever other cousins that are around get together every year to make huge batches of Norwegian lefse, so that everyone will then be able to have some to serve for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. For the interested parties wondering what lefse is - CLICKY
This event ends on Saturday, Nov 26th at 11:59pm!

Oh my god does Lefse look good! My favorite holiday tradition is on Christmas morning my dad always goes and gets us donuts and then makes us a huge breakfast while we wait for everyone to arrive. :) We don't really have a thanksgiving one. ![]() |

My favorite tradition is just all of my family gathering and eating lots of food. Although it will be a small gathering this year, since my siblings can't make it! (more pie for me, nom nom) ![]() |

My grandmother's green salad that she always made every year and brought to our house when I was a kid. No, it is not a vegetable salad. Its a Jello mold. But it's always been my favorite part. Since she passed, I've managed to finally get the recipe from my aunt last year so I could continue that tradition and not go without it for the rest of my life. Now that would be tragic! https://i.imgur.com/v8F7xwJ.jpg ![]() |

My favourite Tradition is getting spend time with my family and friends and getting to eat delicious food and pumpkin pie and sharing what we are all thankful for! My grandma used to make this English Trifle (sooooooooo delicious) before she passed away and since then I've carried on with that tradition and have made it myself and brought it to our family gatherings. ![]() |

I will be totally honest I hate the holidays. It's just me cooking and cooking .Then cleaning and cleaning. Thanksgiving tho when I was little I'd always look forward to the turkey. As a poor household it was the only time I got turkey.

Deviled eggs! A classic at our family gatherings --but only my sister and my aunt know our "secret" ingredient. So every year we have a contest on who can the closest to the real recipe. It's a family tradition based around a family food dish -- and they make the best memories! |

My favorite Thanksgiving tradition is watching the Macy's parade over a giant cup of coffee then helping my grandmother make her famous pumpkin pie. I'm a terrible cook (the microwave is my best friend) but over the years I've mastered her recipe. ![]() |

My favorite tradition is by far going out Black Friday shopping with my momma. I'm so sad that they have done away with a lot of the "midnight shopping", but I completely understand why. It was just always what I looked forward to the most during the holidays. My mom and I loved going out and finding the best deals and seeing all of the "crazies" come out. We used to leave at 11:30 at night and come home around 2pm the next day with a trunk full of gifts (: Now I just drag my husband out to a few stores to try and fulfill that same tradition, but its just not the same. Deviled eggs are definitely a close second to Thanksgiving favorites though ![]() |

We don't celebrate Thanksgiving at all here or at home, so I would say my favourite fall tradition is that first glass of mulled wine at the early Christmas markets. Now, I don't drink it, but it makes my husband so happy! ![]() Rosa is awesome, Rosa is fine, Rosa didn't write this... |

For the last six years my tradition is to go to my Aunt's house. She is the only family I have around me since I moved to Minnesota from Arizona. This year I am making a pecan pie and greenbean casserole to take to dinner. |

Our new Thanksgiving tradition is doing a Friendsgiving. Our family lives too far away to travel to in the event of bad roads, as well as having to try to find someone who can come take care of our animals for us over the holiday. ![]() |

I go to a friend's house each year for Thanksgiving; and we watch the Macy's day parade and then the dog show. We also play uno and catch up on our farm events. I then go out and watch them pick out their Christmas tree. (They are a Christmas Tree & Flower Farm) We talk about what we are thankful for and we chow down. I then go to work and milk the cows. My favorite food is the sweet potato cassarole! |

when I was a kid we all went to my grandmothers house (table full of family) then I waited for Black Friday so I could pick out which toy I wanted for Christmas (poor household) so not much money for toys, but I was happy to get what I wanted for Christmas that I didnt care if it was a cheap one. |

Well as most know, there is no thanksgiving here in Australia, but my favourite Autumn tradition is heading up North to Darwin during the dry season to escape the freezing South. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

dang Norwegian traditions! I make lefse a couple times a year too lmao An on-going tradition in my family would be.. wherever Thanksgiving is hosted, everyone must bring a homemade dish - usually consisting of an old family recipe 😋 |

Hmmmmm. My thanksgiving traditions kinda went out the window several years ago. I wouldn't mind picking a few back up.
I do miss going to grandma's house every year and seeing everyone. |
