Hey Guys,

So the worst thing happened to me! Yesterday I went to finish up one of my graphics and came to my computer 💻 with a blue screen saying no bootable device found! My computer is only 4 months old. It happened after I tried to update my computer to Windows 11. Now I guess the hard drive isn't compatible with my computer making it non-bootable. I am probably going to lose ALL my artwork and everything I've bought from you guys. 

So please understand I am going to try and get it fixed after the holidays! So I won't be able to do any graphics until it's fixed! I'm really upset with it! Might need someone to train on three of my accounts for me! If you can do it please message me! 

I really hate this because I was working on the most beautiful piece! Uggghhh I could cry.

Oh no, that's awful you poor thing! Hope it gets fixed for you! 

Ughh no, how frustrating! Fingers crossed it can all be sorted; if they can pop it back into win10 then *hopefully* all should be relatively well.

My partner says you can check the Bios if its still the selected bootable harddrive.

otherwise wow, Thats horrible :/ And the Reason why I'm not updating to 11 yet.

I've looked in Bios and I don't even have a Legacy option. They did away with that in the newer versions of windows. I had a friend of mine who is an IT tech say that I'll have to take it into geek squad. I'm at a loss. 

I am hoping that all my files and stuff can be recovered, but if not I'll have to maybe contact those I've purchased artwork from that they would be able to resend me the images. 😭 

Is there anyone who could possibly train for me? 

I had this happen to me 2 years ago for a Windows 10 update, I completely understand where you are coming from!  I lost all my artwork and any pictures I had on that desktop!  I hope the IT tech can salvage something on it!  But I've learned to always upload my art on different platforms incase this happens again.  I too went through the Windows 11 update, and so far it's been good for me!  But oh what a nightmare you are in :(  4mos old, maybe the brand of laptop can help you out?  maybe try calling them after the holiday, explaining the Windows 11 update ruined your computer?

oh my goodness, I am so sorry that's terrible.... And I can train for you if your still needing someone to do that for you! :) And I hope that you're able to get your computer fixed or be able to figure something! 

Update: 

Got my computer dropped off to Best Buy today for Geek Squad to repair. I asked about my graphics suite that I had purchased and put onto the computer and they said "software isn't covered"... like um... what the hell do you mean? If I paid XX amount of dollars for this program - WHY wouldn't it be covered when I go to take the computer in, especially IF this was caused from NO fault of my own? Stupid Windows 11 update....

Anyways... she said it SHOULD be FIXED by tomorrow. I really hope they can recover all of my graphics and such because I truly was working on the most beautiful piece! So fingers crossed that I get it back tomorrow. I had to travel a whole hour to get that thing dropped off. For right now, my mom has lent me her computer to at least feed for the week!
