Today, 20 years ago, the world as we knew it stopped.

Today is a difficult day for many, as it is the day they lost friends, family, and loved ones.

Today we bow our heads in remembrance of the victims who lost their lives and the first responders who saved so many more lives on 9/11/2001.

We keep those who are still here with us in our thoughts as they struggle with their daily fight.

While we always ask our players to be kind and caring to each other while interacting, I’m asking you today to be extra respectful to your fellow players. I encourage you to do an act of kindness for someone you don’t know.

For those of us who are old enough to remember, that moment we got the news is scarred into our memories and it is up to us to make sure that we never forget the sacrifices made on that day. Even if this day did not affect you directly, or your families, know that it affected many of your friends and the strangers down the block.

Take a moment today… Think about those victims, the first responders, our troops, and the families of those we have lost, and be grateful for those in your lives that are still with you today because of their sacrifice.


To honor this day and the people affected, the Patriot Paints and Liberty Labs have been moved from the cash shop to the Regular store until October 1st 2021.

Thank you for posting this! This is a very lovely tribute to the victims and their loved ones. The impact of 9/11 is very widespread; even those who may not have been there on that day might know someone who was, or have been otherwise effected. One of my family's close friends was a first responder for NYC and helped the victims escape. He has suffered from cancer ever since due to exposure to toxic dust. Luckily he gets support from charities and has lived a long life aftewards, but he still is impacted to this day from the event.

I have wanted to get a small American flag tattoo for about two years now and I had planned for a long time to have made today the day that I got it. I want to get it in a style that matches the small, simple American flag decal that my dad put onto the rear windshield of his truck the day after it happened. The sticker is still there (albeit extremely faded), he is otherwise vehemently opposed to putting any sort of sticker or decal on his cars so it's the only one he ever has gotten.

Unfortunately, today did not work out that way! But I'm going to get it soon.
