Hello!
I don't believe I've shown off my two painted idiots on the HP forum yet, which if you know me, is very odd. :p

First up is Frederick Nelson, aka: Freddy.
Freddy is a 17 year old grey tobiano Paint Horse gelding. He used to do reined cow horse, reining, and roping but he retired about three years ago after an injury to his left front. Now he just sits in a pasture and looks cute and gets way too many cuddles because kids run up to him and say "it's a grey horse, mom!" and my favorite "he's like the horse from Tangeled!!" Of course, Fred is not the nicest little gelding (he was gelded at 6 by his previous owner after it turned out he was quite the difficult stallion to deal with) and so he now has signs around his coral and pasture telling people to not feed him. Poor fat Paint Horse!
Fred is my first horse and I love him more than anyway. I got him when I was 12 and now I'm 23! I can't believe it has been that long. :)

Anywayyy, here are some photos of the boy:

This last one is in case no one belives he's a Paint. This one is about six years old. He's gotten quite a bit lighter over the years.


Next up is Starlight Cat, aka: Catt.
I got Catt four years ago when he was barely 3 and only have 30 days training on him. He's supposed to be a 14.2 hand cutting horse (his grandsire is the highest earning cutting sire of all time), but he turned into a 16 hand awkward boy who took quite a long time to find any sort of calling. Now he does roping, trail, and is currently learning some reining I hope ot show him in at the end of the season. He's a giant sweetheart and I'm so glad I got the opportunity to work with him. I was actually going to try to train to sell him, but um, no. This one is mine for good now. I love him too much. :)

wow, that's cool that you basically grew up with Freddy. how awesome is that?! :) they're both so handsome!

they both are such attractive horses! Freddy is amazing, I love his coat!!

Stunning horses! I've always been super jealous of Freddy.. he's definitely unique and totally beautiful! And Catt is a beauty, too! I wants! :(

I'm sure Freddy would be very happy to hear that he has some fans. My trainer and I always joke that he's the most arrogant horse in the entire barn.

Oh, and just to confuse you guys about his color more...here is his foal picture from his papers. (I've been cleaning house and I found them in some old folder a few days ago)

Hard to imagine Freddy was that much darker when he was young.

I think Freddy got in a fight with the bleach! I cant believe he was that dark to start :-P both are so beautiful though. Paints are definitely my most favorite breed. Their coat patterns are so interesting and unique ;)

Freddy seems like he's got a lot of sass! And Catt has such a handsome profile. :}

Freddy it's crazy to see how much Freddy's coat has changed!  He's so handsome, but don't tell him that.  We don't want it to go to his head. :P

Catt is handsome as well!  I love gentle giants, and he's got a lovely profile like misa said. :D
