Sam is 13 years old today and it's especially special that the goodest boy is still here.

He had blood in his urine and a few vet trips didn't bring up anything specific then in October his urine was ALL blood. It was a massive worry and vet appointment that day. A few more checks and nothing so he was booked in for ultrasound on the Friday. Thursday he barely ate and Friday he was in vets all day. He came home and we got the news he has a tumur around heart. He may last the weekend and he may last a few months but be aware he likely doesn't have long.

We tried everything but all he would eat for weeks was chicken and rice.  He was struggling walking, stiff getting up and his walks consisted of a quarter of our small estate the house is on. After a week we finally got his tumeric into him. He slowly started improving and it was over a month but we got dog meat food into him. By December he started coming to the yard for off lead run arounds fortnightly. 

Now, he is on his old dog biscuits plus a little bit of meat, his tumeric and he goes walks around the full estate most days but he also comes up to the yard 1-3 times a week.  He sees the lead and he is bouncing. He races around up at the yard and we are so full of joy that this amazing boy is still here and enjoying life.
