On 2/27/95 the first eveyr Pokemon media were released via Pokemon Red and Green - a pair of video games released for Game Boy!

My sister had one of the video games. We played it all the time. I just loved collecting the different ones.

I used to watch pokemon as a kid but never played any of the games until pokemon go. xD Which I still play cuz I can hit stops while riding the bus to/from work haha

On the show, pikachu was probably my favorite but I also liked meowth.

My favorite po go pokemon is probably lapras cuz I finally found one last fall after playing for 4+ years. xD

I grew up on pokemon. I still love it now at 28 years old... so much so, my kids are obsessed with it now too xD

I never really got into Pokemon until Pokemon Go. My sister got into it much earlier and played some games on the 3DS :P She's still the expert as far as I'm concerned. But I do have my personal favorite, which is Snorlax. Snorlax is my spirit animal and I have a bit of an obsession with him. Always xD

As someone who loves to hoard critters, Pokemon suits me wonderfully. I love games that let you collect different species/animals :P

When I was a kid Burger King did this partnership with Pokemon where the kid's toys were these fake gold or silver Pokemon figures. I really liked it because it brought the Pokemon to life instead of them just being flat characters on a screen. 

A lot of my middle school students still battle and trade Pokemon cards, so it's still really popular!

I enjoyed playing pokemon snap when I was younger. My favorite pokemon is Sandslash. ;)

I've been into Pokemon since it hit the states. Started out with a green GameBoy Color with Red and Blue. I've played almost all of the video games and have been collecting the cards off and on since the 90s. My favorite Pokemon is Gengar and I love it so much I got it tattooed on my back playing a green GameBoy!

I've only ever played PoGo. Never owned a GameBoy, so have never played the original games. 
Only ever seen a few episodes of the anime and have seen 'Detective Pikachu'.
Never played the TCG but have a few cards just because.
Don't own any merch.

What I love about PoGo is seeing new places around the world (I "spoof") and collecting Pokemon. I'm interested in as high CP as possible. I also love reading the info about the different 'Mon.

Pokemon has always been a social event for me. Started with Gold while one of my brothers had Silver. We kept with the opposite title releases up until they switched over to DS since I never bought one :P I've actively played PoGo since it came out with a whole squad (just did the event last Saturday!). I participate in my area's discord group. xD I ended up purchasing a Switch just to play Lets Go! Eevee and ended up getting Sword. It's been such a fun activity to play with friends.

Loved Pokemon as a kid! My brother and I used to watch the tv show and play the games on the GameBoy and even tried to collect all the cards. Never really got into battling with the cards, but we wanted to "catch em all". Never even came close! xD I love playing Pokemon Go now, even more so now since our apartment corners a Gym so I can get all the gifts to give to friends and participate in raids and all that fun stuff.
