This may have already been discussed or I may be compeltely off in my understanding but...

Why do clubs not have bank accounts or monthly incomes that appear with every new term?

I have been really pushing for interactive contests and such but my club is relatively selective (hence the clubs name). This means it is selective in what it accepts for club registration which decreases the animals in club shows therefore increasing possibly point gain for those who are registered and club members.

I do know there is the ability to donate (though not many people do) and I have donated my own funds each month for the success of the club. But why is there not a set monthly income for a club beyond shows and registrations? Maybe there is and I just havent caught it? I would this this would help allow for more contests, prizes, etc for better involvement!

Maybe I am just doing something wrong and need to change my ideas around for better succes. Let me know, thanks :D

Clubs are mostly funded by the president every month. But I feel ya! I hate this concept as well because I earn my HPD myself (with limited income I might add) and don't really want to be responsible for supplying the HPD prizes for every club myself either.

There's a ton of HPD just sitting on the HA account. Why can't that even be divided up amongst the clubs?

This has always been the plight of clubs. If you have any suggestions for more participation, let us know!

But Nad is correct...prizes are meant to come from the president.

Thanks for answering! I love being president and really enjoy doing the puzzles and things everyone offers. I wish there was a small monthly stipend or something that helped just buffer it along a bit sometimes. But I do understand the turmoil in not wanting to flood the system with HPD.

That HA idea is a good one. Why does HA need so much money anyway? I mean, it's a game account.

My thoughts exactly! And its getting more cause all the mascot contest entrance fees are being sent there.

I assumed the HA account had so much money to help with the circulation of money that goes around the game.  If that makes sense.  Like with the graphics, it holds the money until the graphic is complete.  

The HA's bank account is the main way of taking money out of the economy :P We send big money there that really helps moderate the economy in game. With nowhere to take money away, prices for everything would hike - like a set of dog tickets would cost 1mil per ticket - just because there's so much money in the economy. If there's no way to take the money out of the economy, then all of a sudden everybody has 3 billion HPD. So they have to charge more because the value of HPD has gone down (inflation). Charging 70mil for a layout then is basically giving it away, whereas charging 1bil would be an actual competitive price.

So, I would assume that's the main reason we dont dole out money back from the HA bank account.

I 100% understand shy more income into clubs would help, but unfortunately it would just inflate the economy even more :(

My understanding of economy stuff is very pathetic, so correct me if this wouldn't help anyway, xD but what if clubs were able to make double shows, at least, or maybe even charge more, say, like up to 10k for their shows? That wouldn't mess up the economy.....right? Since the money would be from players entering/paying for the shows? It wouldn't be a LOT more but it'd be somewhat more.

I see what you're thinking Panthera. Maybe allow a greater increase of flow of that money and help there be more shows out there? Because the money would be coming from players themselves and then going back to the players through games and contest.

Yeah, that shouldn't hurt the economy, because more money isn't being directly infused in. It just transfers money differently between players. I support that, Pants.
