Anyone else getting fit? Post here to keep yourself accountable =D I've been doing Centr (app) workouts for the past half a year or so. They just released a new 6 week program. I'm starting it 2 weeks late (knee injury), but ready to kick it's butt! |

I want to do a 10k in November! I've done plenty of 5ks but I never actually train for them. I plan on either using a couch to 10k app or making up my own running program. And hopefully, by training, I can get my 5k time into the 30s as well! |

Be careful with all your diets, friends! Nourish the cells first and foremost! I'd love to get into a regular body movement routine. |

YASSS drink the water! I love telling people all about water. So we know that water makes up roughly 60% of your body. It boosts metabolism, helps with restorative processes while you sleep, yay immune protection, really is the best thing for flushing out toxins, etc. Stuff you've probably heard before :D But, timing is also important! I was suprised that pretty much the only place you could learn something like this when I was in school, was IN SCHOOL whatt??? So, drink water right when you get up (probably this one is well known, do within like an hour, like with breakfast to get your metabolism going), don't drink anything at meal time! Drink water half an hour beforehand, that's what will really help with digestion and also a glass before going to sleep. Also, the eight glasses of water thing doesn't really work when you get down to it. Our bodies are different! An easy way to determine how many oz you should drink would be to take your weight and multiply it by say, 60%. If you regularly work out for at least 30 minutes, or even just a day you'll decide to work out for 30 minutes, drink another 12 oz! Everyone is way more dehydrated than they think haha So do that math and then get you a water bottle like this one: https://www.amazon.com/Venture-Pal-Motivational-Leakproof-Sports-Pink/dp/B07Q57534T/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=water+bottle&qid=1591890822&sr=8-2&th=1 It'll help you stay motivated and make sure you really are hitting those water goals. Woop woop ^^

Great advice Yama. I was doing slimming world but had to stop when finding specific foods was scarce plus I ended up really fatigued so I'm slowly getting back to it again. |
