Introducing Player of the Month!

This will be a reoccurring event!
Message me at (#22700) with one nomination for a player who you feel like they deserve a little recognition within the HP Community! They could be your best gaming friend, partner, or a player who you admire for their lines of animals, or even their artwork/coding skills. Kinda like “Employee of the Month” only instead of your picture being taken some more cool things happen! :D

Guidelines/Qualifications
Anyone can nominate another player, community ambassador, moderator, or admin!
You can only nominate one player each month and from one account, not per account owned.
No, you cannot nominate yourself. :p
Though, to be qualified for this recognition…
 - You must be an active player on HP for at least 2 consecutive months with the current month being most recent
- Have animals active in training or foals/pups waiting to age up for training
- Must not have already earned “Player of the Month” within the same calendar year

The fun stuff
If you have been chosen for “Player of the Month” you will receive…
- An achievement award - You can choose between 3 designs!
- 7 days of upgrade time
- A shout out in the monthly Newsletter
- A recognition post via Facebook & Instagram
- A news post and forum post all about You
- Special notes from members of Staff
- Your name will be added to the “Player of the Month” page in the Community tab

Timeline
The first 3 weeks of each month I will be receiving nomination messages and making notes in Google Sheets to keep tally on who has been mentioned.
The last week of each month I will be contacting the winner and do a little interview of HP and real life questions that they can choose to share. Then will type up the news/forum post to be ready to go for the “Player of the Month” announcement.

How Does It Work?
From the tally of names I collect throughout the first 3 weeks of each month the player with the most nominations will win.
If there are no additional nominations per player or if nominations are tied; their names will be chosen at random using a randomizer to determine a winner.
Also, if I receive no new nominations during the current month I will pick the player from the previous month’s nominations who had the 2nd highest nomination numbers, or if there was a tie the names would be chosen at random using a randomizer to determine a winner.

Edits for 2021 Based on Survey Feedback
1. An at random list of players will be chosen for the month to be put to a vote.
At random will come from reviewing the recent logged in and activity of each player.
2. Out of that list, you will message me who you'd like to win!
3. Notes from Staff will now be known as Community Chatter - So if you would like to add a nice note about the player you nominated, it very well could be seen in the announcement/news post!

Not so patiently waiting for the January voting link to be posted cause I have a few people to nominate! 

Are they still nominate or are they randomly chosen? I thought they were randomly generated...

I just know at the bottom of the form - you can usually nominate people! Unless if I'm remembering wrong...

It says on the post, after 2021, "An at random list of players will be chosen for the month to be put to a vote." 

So I just assumed that it was put to a random active player list and I stopped nominating.... but maybe I'm wrong?

Ask questions if you're not sure on things! My inbox is always open! :p

Anywho....
Long story short....and seen in Sunday's December thread at the bottom that this will be getting a re-vamp.
So there will be no voting form for going into January. My plan is inbetween finishing 24DoC & start of Mascot this will be getting some much needed attention to spruce it up a bit and make it easier on everyone.

On the voting form there was an optional section where you yourself could type in and nominate another player that hasn't already been nominated throughout the current year or who hasn't already won. Then if ever I got any responses from there that followed the information I'd use those names and if there were any missing to fill the 4 slots I'd go through the active players list and look through each players' pages and activity throughout the site before adding them to the nominee list, which would be the at random part.

So hold tight, and wish me luck in the new year on making this better! xD
In the meantime, anyone is more than welcome to message me if they like to give a special shoutout to another player!
