Maybe not the 'most fun thing' but it's always interesting to hear about fears! are you scared of clowns?? does raw chicken just freak you out??! name anything that you are scared of or just really really weirds you out. Maybe there's a few we all agree on lol. Fear: the dentist (even into my late 20s I still feel like crying at the thought of having to go see them) |

I am terrified of geese. Give me spider, snakes -I'll pass on rats too- but geese are the devils animal. I have a hard time even looking at pictures. |

I was 'attacked' by gesse when I was very young, I guess I just haven't gotten over it - Plus they are just terrifying.
The noise they make, their 'teeth', their agressiveness. |

I am more than just afraid, I'm phobic. I have had more than 1 anxiety attack due to geese, In fact, I had to leave my first riding stable because they got geese - and I just couldn't function worrying about them (Walk past them to get the horse/tack/etc). It's gotten better .. but I still would rather not be around them, |

For what it's worth, I used to be afraid of spiders. Until I realized that they eat the evil creatures that transmit numerous infectious diseases to people. And Lucas the Spider played a huge part in my "recovery." Now every spider is a "Baby Lucas" and I actually find them adorable now! Here's a link! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Isvqg90LhqM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4HU6Z7anycw -- This is my favorite one...it has a Golden Retriever!!
As for what I am afraid of, one thing is public swimming pools. Several reasons. Public health issues first and foremost; the chlorine doesn't kill Cryptosporidum. Shocking a "green pool" with chemicals until it becomes clear; but you're still swimming in the dead organisms and that freaks me out. The intense chlorine smell from pools that you get is due to a reaction of the pool chemicals and human urine; the local indoor pool smell is enough to give me a headache. And finally, the pool drains freak me out. Maybe an urban legend, but when I was a kid, I was told the suction on the older pools can trap you and drown you. Even if they shut down the suction, there's a vaccum and it's difficult to free you. Even today, this still freaks me out. Anyone else fear swimming pools?

I've honestly not thought too much about all those reasons public swimming are health hazards above other things and then azalie sayings drowning and combining that with a public pool honestly makes it seem even worse! But I don't even recall the last time I swam in a public pool! |

I get the "squicks" from a lot of things, but I don't have a phobia as such, werein I'd get anxious, sick and whatnot. |

Scary movies like you mentioned, especially suspenseful, Kuwait definitely get to me for particular reasons like you stated. Me and scary movies are not friends. Not even a TINY bit. *shivers*
reading everyone else's I'm thinking about things I honestly haven't thought of but makes me realize I can completely understand why these would be fears. |

Spiders, freaky scenes in movies when its the ghosts, or whatever element they have in there when they move all unnatural and creepy, and then clowns. Spiders are just so flipping creepy and yuck. I have regular night terrors about them, and if they are above a doorway, I either can't go through that door, or I have to run through it, and if they are on the side, I suck myself as close to the other side as I can and skirt my way through, waiting for the damn thing to jump on me the entire time! I'm not too sure why the movie thing, but I cant stand to watch any part of a movie if it has that in it, I have to look away until it's over. And clowns, because when I was very young, my dad and mom thought it was fine for me to watch IT. It has been at least 28 years since I have seen it, and to this day they are my major fear. I was even terrified of showers and it took me the longest time before I could shower due to the drains. |

I can handle the random daddy long legs in the corner of my room but I hate like "ACTUAL" spiders. Also, bats. HAAAAATEE. Tornadoes are probably my closest thing to having an actual phobia to though. I am absolutely terrified. Thankfully, they're not *usually* common where I live here. |

Ugh! I hate the U.K.'s version of "daddy longlegs", the crane fly. They have thin bodies, rather long wings, and long gangly legs. *shudder* https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crane_fly |
