I believe a feature of top horses/dogs per year might be a good thing. Sometimes for many players it is quite discouraging to look at the top animals of all time, and realize getting an animal on there is next to impossible. However if had a seperate section where it was top animal rankings by the year it might promote more people to strive for better points.

current players is a ranking. so why not animals!

Not shooting down the idea, but isn't that what the other animal rankings are for (Young, Adult, Senior)?

I think this can also be found by going to the Ambassador page as well for the breed if I'm not mistaken? I know there is a all time top 25 of the breed, as well as the top 25 under 21 (or 16 for dogs) of the breed?

I'd be down for this! I agree it is slightly discouraging to have had a really good animal but not one that made it to those top rankings.

Would it be animals born within that year, or ones that retired within that year?

Maybe the date they are retired?

or if there's a way to do it within the year they lived most their lives. so born in 2020, retired in 2021, but retired like jan 10th of 2021, if that makes sense?

I cant help that i strived to have the top horse on the game...i saved billions and billions (thousands of RLD)for my projects, so i think its fair that we only have the rankings we do...

I agree that the breed embassys already have a current ranking system on them so why is that not ok?!

Aza what I was proposing was to keep the all time rankings and other rankings but add a section for yearly rankings in. There are not breed embassys for every breed on game currently. I get you have worked hard to get what you have and I in no way was proposing to remove that ranking listing. 

So it would just be like the current top 25 players ranking...

Which is basically the same 90% of players that are on the top 25 already...

no it'd be different because it would showcase the CURRENT top animals, not players, and some of those animals have been on there for years. It's nice to have a chance at a little more personal achievements for those who will never be able to spend billions on a pixel. Nice for some of us peons to have an achievement to aspire for on a smaller scale.
