I'm not sure if this has been suggested, but... I was thinking that if maybe clubs could get a weekly paycheck, rather than just relying on donations (mostly from the club pres), then they would have money to have more contests. More people would run for president if it didn't mean they had to use their own playing money to fund club contests. Might help make clubs a more active part of HP.

It could be set up exactly like player home pages, so the pres would have to remember to go to the bank from the club page every week. I don't know how many long-term basic players we have, but it would be another way to make money rather than upgrading, weekly shows, the bank, and graphics (subject to how talented people are). It might help keep people who don't want to/can't afford upgrades. It seems like the game is rather limited in sustainable options if you are a basic player... just thoughts :)

I sent Sam a list of clubs suggestions a week or so ago, and that was one of the things I suggested! :) 

yay, awesome! I really love the club idea, but wish it was more integral to playing hp. Hopefully some things get a boost so that there's more interaction between clubs and players :)
