This is kind of in two parts. I suggest that we start by getting rid of the art gallery page altogether. Save the old pics of HP for the second part of this, and dump the rest. The pictures that other people drew for contests are (sorry, artists) kind of awful? For someone new coming to the game, it makes the game look really little-kiddish, to be completely honest.

Then take the old pics of HP's default animals and old layout(s), and make a history of HP page. This would include old staff members (which would be super helpful for things like the scavenger hunts where that's used as a clue but not everyone has been around HP for the whole ten years and doesn't know who used to be on staff..... cough), and past mascot contest winners (they did something awesome, it'd be cool to recognize them permanently, where everyone can see forever). It'd be really cool to keep adding to it, and have one place to look at all of HP's history!

I like the craptastic drawings, but love a history of HP area of the site. A page -not so much. But maybe 1 page with links to take us to other pages like the help area. Mainly because this history of HP in huge and beautiful.  And I would like to see the mascot entries each get their own pages. Maybe with their stories on them. 

I'm down for merging the gallery and history of HP into a page! But I'm not sure what you envision being included? Definitely open to suggestions!

I think it would include how the site came to be (inspiration etc.), how things used to be: cheapo tix, very cheap upgrades(I got my first 6-month uppy from Heaven Tonight for a "huge" $5,000,000!!) when the economy was first being developed, etc.

I never seen cheapo upgrades or cheapo tickets. O.o But I was in and out the first few years so I guess that could be why. xD I remember paying 350-500k per dog show spots and around 500m for uppies and I think it was around 500k or more for tickets. But that was when I first tried to do all that so it wasn't near the beginning of the game. It was around the time I did my first mascot entry (which was Asus I believe?)

Maybe you guys could share your memories, old art, old layouts, stuff like that? And we could post them!

I have the sites old art and some stuff I remember and like post about the first time we did certain events, old April fools jokes, but things like prices I'm not sure I would be able to remember, haha!

You could almost do a time line? You could add stuff each year when you do your state of the union, reflect on the year before. Anything could go on it, really! I do think mascot stuff should, for sure. April Fools day stuff would be really funny. Old animal art, what the layout used to be. Changes in staff. 

I just think it'd be cool to look back and see what happened that year!

One page for all the stuff, but tabs for all the different information and stuff? Like one tab called Mascot, and then you can hover over it and have the dropdown menu that has the years and then when you click on the years it have the winners, ect...

Then the Team / Staff history, and when you hover over it you get past and present, and notable moments in history.

Then maybe an in memory page. Of the players we lost along the way. I cannot for the life of me recall her full player name, but I do remember we lost someone to cancer (I want to say Violet) and there was a huge project dog in her memory (um... a spaniel of sorts if my memory is correct).

In reply to Concourse: I figured out who you were talking about! That was when I used to play. It was Violet (Account 1020) and Violet's Starr was a project in rememberance of her. I think it was Binski who took over her account.

Concourse: Yep, we lost Violet and later, Noel. Noel was the Morgan Queen.
