Small Updates

I did a bunch of small housekeeping updates today:


  • Fixed the hover colors in messages, searches, rankings, and graphic auctions. These should now swap automatically with the layout.


  • Changed the background of new messages when you're reading them. These should also now switch automatically when the reason changes.


  • Changed the social media icons.


  • Fixed the text color in the graphic auctions.


  • Added a back to main listing from the Create Auction page on graphics auctions AND one in the "Auction Created!" message to make it easier to create multiple auctions.


  • Added a "Back to List" link to the rankings.


  • Fixed the player search so that results don't automatically come up before you search.


  • You can now order Player Search results by either name (alphabetically) or ID number (lowest first).


  • The default avatar on the online list and in the forums for people who don't have one set has been updated to reflect the new art (this was something I did yesterday).


  • Player Search now displays a player's last login and breed specialty.


  • I also added avatars to player search results and spaced them out a little more to make them more readable.


     


    *NOTE* All of the layout should be updated to the new colors now. If you're still seeing parts of the layout in the old colors, you need to clear your cache or your browsing data. If you've already done that and you're still seeing parts of the layout in the old colors, please let me know ASAP! Especially text colors.

    I guess I'm just going to continue to update this thread for now instead of continuing to make new ones! (Although maybe we need a section where all of the changes we made are automcatically listed? But that's a thought for another day, haha.)

  • You can also now sort player search by last login (most recent or longest ago).

  • I fixed the Shop links so Store and Cash Shop are first, and made it so that basics and upgrades see the same store page, but basics can't see upgrade items to buy, rather than having a separate basic store.

  • I also added some little images to the store as part of the beautification/modernization effort.

  • I did some admin-specific programming stuff as well.

    You can also search by achievements in the player search! I tried a few and it seems to work, but I'd love to see results from more extenstive testing.

    Oh! And I added a custom Error 404 page today.

    AND finally, you can now sort horse and dog search results by generation (highest first or lowest first).

    Changelog idea is cool :D

    Love the little images in the store and being able to sort by gen!

    Can I just show some GIANT appreciation for Sam in her constant work on improving the game, AND taking ideas/opinions from players to heart?
