SO, I have a back story for this Mascot Contest but its WAAAYYYY to long to actually post in a thread or on my page. AND its formated. 
I pasted it on Google Docs, fixed my spelling errors and added pages , then made a PDF document.

Is there any way to share the PDF on my layout?
I created a link for it on my layout, but of course it doesnt work. 

Guys, its like 8 pages..which isnt a first... i dont think?
...But anywho...
What Do I DO???

I just want it all up and ready for Sunday since I'll be at work. bleh.

Hey System! The calander says that mascot backstories aren't due until March 17, the last week of the contest - so hopefully that'll take some stress off ^^

As to linking to the story on your page, you have to upload the PDF online where the public can access it with a link. The way you have it linked now is just to a location on your computer, which none of us can access without being on your computer.

If you pasted it in Google Docs, you should actually be able to get a link from Google Docs that allows people to read the document without being able to edit it.

In Google Docs, go to File > Share. In the top right corner of the popup window, there's a little button that says "Get Shareable Link." Click that and then click the bar that says "Anyone with the link can..." Change the option to "can view." This allows people who click on the link to see the document, but they can't change anything in it. The window will generate a link which you can copy and past into the link on your page!
