2019 Mascot Contest

It's time again for our big, massive mascot contest! It's part training contest, part mascot contest, and a whole lot of fun and competitiveness.

It's our hope that this contest will continue to bring everyone together as a community of breeders and players (as this will produce some awesome animals), and also help to boost the sales of tickets, shows, and graphics on the game.

In this contest participants will start with a horse or dog that has just turned to showable age (we will have a grand prize winner and a runner up for each species and category, you can see the full prize list here), and the goal will be to train it to the highest possible points in a 6 week period.

In addition to the training, animals must also have a creative name, a unique, quality image (can be custom-made or a pre-made but it MUST be unique to that animal), and an awesome backstory. As always, we will have one category in each species for people who are using tickets and shows, and one category in each species for those who are not. Participants can participate by themselves, or form teams. Each individual/team will have one month to gather funds, pool resources, make plans, and get ticket/show reservations, and then 6 weeks to actually train their animal. At the end of the 6 weeks, final scoring will begin and voting will begin to take place for the winners in individual categories. You can go here to look for a team or go here to sign up!

The contest is judged primarily based on who had the most points in each category at the end (40%), but also by popular vote for Favorite Overall (10%), Best Picture (20%), Best Name (10%) and Best Backstory (20%). Read more about how the mascot contest is scored here.

The 2019 mascot contest sign ups start NOW, and ends Saturday February 9th, and training will begin on Sunday February 10th.

Wicked.  I'm trying to debate whether to sacrifice 3 weeks of training to breed my entry or buy a store and have my lined animal as the mate...
